For Clarifications:
Barons and the Overlord are unaffected.
The Warlord Tournament and Talon Tournament will not be affected. Warlords and lower ranks will fight At Their Rank for these tournies.
Squires and Talons will retain their Extra Fancy. So, if a Squire or Talon is a Commoner, they will have 5 fancies, Swordsmen will have 4, etc.

In the challenge match, yes. This event only holds for Official hours dueling. So, challenge matches and tournaments will all be normal fancies.Apple wrote:Challenging Warlords get to keep their fancies as well, correct?

So...
I was busy the past couple days (was not hiding as an alt), didn't see the announcement as I hadn't visited the forums while away and came into duel with my newly activated Warlord. I've been dueling the past month as Commoner and Swordsman so I wanted to regain that feel for having fancies as practice for the tournament.
While dueling Delahada and he opens with a Fancy Lateral Parry. Immediately I think he's a Warlord. It's an old instinct. Second round, another he uses another fancy. 4th round, we both Fancy Side Step and 7th round I land a Fancy Lateral Parry to tie the score at 2. So, I check the standings to see what rank he is to see if I have to worry about a forth Fancy.
Something very odd happened then. I couldn't find Delahada in the standings. Anywhere. Well, one place, as he has the Talon. This was most confusing. Was I blind? Did G'nort leave him off the standings? Was he cheating? What was going on? I talked with Delahada and then he informed me that it was opposite day. Then Misty informed me it was opposite month and I;m thinking to myself...
I brought my Warlords back just in time for them to not be Warlords anymore! lol
I take it you don't want my oldies back. Just banish me to the basement and to make a bunch of new characters. I see how it is! j/k
