Where's my Card?

Post by Spell »

Dear Besty and Co-President of Tea for Two, Sarah Matthews,

I am writing to inform you that I have yet to receive a card!
This is troublesome news. I have done away with twelve fire elementals already.
They said you have not delivered the card yet, but I believe that they are lying!
Why would my Besty forget to give me a card? How strange, how very.. very strange.

Oh yes. Once you do away with Jacen shall I arrange a play date between us?
Perhaps in the library of the Tower of Earth? How fun!
I will invite Xanth. He enjoys a good book discussion with tea just like the rest of us.

Awaiting your card,
Jesse DeAngelo Van Bokkelen Smith

::he notices the strangely written not and decides to add his own oddity to it. A quick poems is written to the bottom of Jesse's note and does not add his signature::

Dear Sarah Matthews,

This situation is becoming quite troublesome. As I write this, the card you have hand delivered to many has yet to be delivered to me.
Did you deliver it to Xanth instead? We are wed, that is correct. Did you believe we would come together?
Xanth is busy with his studies and I would rather this card be delivered to me.

I have not slept. I believe that once I close my eyes the card will be delivered and I will not be there to receive.
Is this the work of that VILE SNAKE?

Delivered? Delivered to me?

Signed,

"Walter... Hold still, no complaining. Walter!" Sarah was growling as the goblin complained loudly and energetically about the task he was being given. Finally, after a bit of wrestling and a lot of bribing, Walter caved to Sarah's request.

Dressed as an elf, Walter made his way over to Jesse's tower and with a sigh kicked the door. The bell on his fuzzy Santa hat chimed and he rolled his eyes. He felt entirely degraded.

Eventually he gave up to waiting and taped a card to Jesse's door.

A small note read on the back: Sleep now, okay? And marry Christmas. Sarah.
