To the Keeper of the Tower of Air,

I, the 'lich so named Mephistopheles by his maker, the Great Wyrm known amongst you mortals as Mephisto the Red, Guardian of the Ring of Klytus and Spirit Staff this present cycle, do hereby formally submit to you in writing my bid to challenge you in magical combat to determine which of us is more worthy to act as custodian to one of the Isle's four most noteworthy landmarks, the Tower of Air.

The thought of appointing a champion came to mind when I first heard of this challenge
I had thought it was nothing more than rachael wynter now douglas challenging once again for the tower of air
Then I saw who was the one challenging

The ring of klytus is known but a staff that is unknown to me????
This unknown staff has struck my interest
I believe we have dueled once before
Vincent was a strong opponent
I hope you are the same
I have spoken with those who need know of my intent to travel to rhydin
Magic travel is not allowed at the moment
It may take some days before I arrive in rhydin

I find your concern for me and mine to be most amusing. Worry not. My treasures are secure. A thief would first needs know the location of my lair, then have the courage to attempt navigating the labyrinth and all the traps that await therein. Only a fool dares tresspass on a dragon's lair, and only the dead escape.

Oh my gosh! This was my first time on the Isle and it did not disappoint! Did you know that there are goblins all over the place? I've never seen so many! But they were very useful in helping me set up the ring for the challenge. Oh right! The challenge!

Nayun looked pretty strong at the start of the first match. She lost momentum and then the lead, but managed to come back to tie it up. Unfortunately for her, Mephisto proved too big of an obstacle to overcome.

After taking the first match with some effort--thirteen rounds!--he made the second match look like a breeze in six.

Congratulations to the new Keeper of Air! Good try Nayun!
