Sarah stared at the cork, then the towers for a good period of time before sighing and posting her note on the board.
Dragon,
Be it known that we are of the same rank, thus I see it fitting to remove you from your status as keeper. This is not personal as many would think when people make their selections. More over, this is a matter of me proving my skill. I challenge you for your tower and all the rights that come with it.
Sarah

The key to the Tower of Earth appeared upon the desk of the Coordinator's desk resting upon a note of ichorous black written on drowskin parchment. The beautifully scripted calligraphy (the archs, curves and slashes would remind the reader of Draconic) read thusly:
I, Chythraul Cubuklu, accept this challenge. A worthy opponent and one that I have yet to defeat. Perhaps it shall be tonight that her powers become my own.
~C.C.~
Notified that the message and key had reached their destination, he returned to the depths of his dormant volcano located high in the mountains of the Twilight Isle.

This was the first time I ever called a challenge match, and despite a few mistakes (owing largely to the fact that I mostly trained myself in the fine art of calling matches), I was still honored to have been requested to be a part of it!
That being said, thanks in part to the duelists as well as the witnesses to the challenge, it was an enjoyable experience all around! It may have been only two rounds, and while only one could emerge the victor, both duelists gave it their best effort, even as the Earth Ring threw multiple obstacles into their path!
The Tower of Earth Challenge, Sarah Matthews VS. Chythraul Cubuklu, First Match:
Ring/Match/Round | Chythraul/Sarah | Score
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 1: | MB/SH | 0-0.5, Sarah
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 2: | FF/Fo.GF | 0-1.5, Sarah
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 3: | Fo.MS/WB | 0-2, Sarah
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 4: | Fo.RF/MW | 1.5-2, Sarah
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 5: | MB/Fo.DP | 2.5-2, Chythraul
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 6: | MS/MW | 3.5-3, Chythraul
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 7: | AR/MB | 4-3, Chythraul
Ring Titan, Match 1, Round 8: | MW/FT | 5-3, Chythraul
Chythraul the Vile .def. Sarah, 5-3 in 8 rounds
There was a five minute rest period dictated by the caller, in which both duelists retreated to their separate sides of the ring whilst they readied themselves for the next match. When it came time to duel, the contestants came out and started flinging spells while the Earth Keeper's ring did its best to keep them on their toes!
The Tower of Earth Challenge, Sarah Matthews VS. Chythraul Cubuklu, Second Match:

Ring Titan, Match 2, Round 1: | Fo.RF/MS | 1.5-0, Chythraul
Ring Titan, Match 2, Round 2: | MW/Fo.SH | 1.5-1, Chythraul

Ring Titan, Match 2, Round 7: | MS/Fo.MB | 5.5-3, Chythraul
Chythraul the Vile .def. Sarah, 5.5-3 in 7 rounds
In the end, after two matches in which Sarah did not make it easy on him, Chythraul managed to retain his title as Keeper of the Tower of Earth. Well done, Chythraul, and well tried, Sarah! May both duelists fare as well (or better) in the future!
