Brute of the Week!
Brute of the Week is back!
Once upon a time, in the long-lost lore of the Duel of Fists Outback, there was a special recognition award known as the Brute of the Week. Each week one brawler (or, in very special circumstances, more than one) received the honor for a variety of reasons. It could have been given to the victor of a particularly crazy match; or even better, it could have been given to the loser of a crazy match who managed to stick it out! It could have been gifted to the brawler who got the most fights in, or the most wins.
Whatever the reason for receiving the honor, the Brute of the Week was once a fixture among the Outback denizens and served as an award that someone, no matter the rank, could gain.
We here at the Outback are pleased to bring back this storied tradition – once again we present you all with the Brute of the Week Award! Every week that we find a worthy recipient, we will put their picture and a summary of his or her achievements on the corkboard for all to marvel at.
Of course, things would get very boring very quickly if we were the only ones to think something is worthy of giving a brawler the Brute of the Week award. So, if you – yes, you – see an amazing fight, see the insanity of a free-for-all battle, or even just feel someone is on a roll, then tell us! Nominate each other! (No nominating yourself, though.) Either leave a note at the offices for Jaycy, or better yet, put that note up on the board for all to see and admire!

Candy walked by the corkboard, noting the mention of 'Brute of the Week' being brought back. She recalled the title as something someone said while watching Matt Simon fight against three in Styx. Surprise halted her feet when she saw her name up for nomination. The Badsider she carried tilted up as she took a pull, but it didn't hide the pleased smirk as she moved away.

GOD LIKE
Adelaide Valentine. (Testament)
Holy sh*t this girl was amazing for a first timer.
She went toe to toe with me at glass and didn't lose her fighting spirit. Even had me on the ropes in the first couple of rounds! Don't think a little fancy footwork would of worked well even if I used it.
Not only that? Her second fight of the night Rachael went 3-0 on her, then got it to a breathtaking 4-1. Did this girl quit?
HELL NO!
She went right on back and tied it at 4-4 before ending it in her favor.
She deserves the brute of the week award more than anyone else. Check out Candys logs for monday night fists to see this little chick go.

A playful grin plastered across her face Adelaide glanced at the board, something suggested to her by one of the many personalities she met just yesterday.
The memories of her first night in the outback were clear as day, it had been fun meeting all the people and of course, participating in the festivities. She couldn't help but feel honored at her nomination being the fledgling that she was in The Outback, eyes closed and a small giggle escaped pale pink lips before she strode off into the distance.
( I remember back when this was more akin to rock paper scissors, long long time ago. Good to be back guys and thanks for the votes :] )
