while it has been a long time since I have held any rank of significance in this realm, I once was not without skill in the rings and it has always been my belief that those of title must be active in the arena. This perhaps explains, or is at least a factor in, why I have not held any rank of significance in quite a while

It is for this reason, and no other, that I use the challenge grant awarded to me for finishing first in the recent Madness tournament to challenge the Baron of New Haven, the one known as DeathLord.

I await certification of this challenge and acceptance from the Baron.

The hollowness you perceive in my words is clearly due to your not understanding them. My own lack of presence in the rings these past years is irrelevent as I've neither held, nor sought a title. You can rest assured that should I claim the title of Baron, my presence in the rings will be quite noticeable.
