The blade created a soft whistle as it cut the air, she was twisting her body and bending so that it would protect from an attack from above. Her thoughts were drifting toward the Inn and the boys she'd taken in to work there. Many people Brit dealt with believed her cold and calculating, without compassion for her fellow humans. Those that knew her, people like Cam and her crew knew that the woman had a soft spot for those she deemed lost, taking in stray teenagers like some women collected cats. Cam knew better than any, for it was Cam that took Brit in when she was wandering, lost and without the benefit of any memories from her past.
The main gauche in her right hand slashed from shoulder height to groin in the air and she stepped in and thrusted with the sword where the other blade had cleared. The blade was whirling around for another attack when she heard Cam speak. "Are you a farmer now, love? Somehow I do not imagine that would satisfy you."
She supposed that her motions looked a bit like someone harvesting wheat and she replied in a light tone "Are you saying that you do not wish to plow me, Cam?" The wolfish grin that tugged at her lips caused a shiver to run up his spine, feigning indifference he leaned against a nearby wall. The pheromones that Brit was throwing off was a heady elixir and he knew she'd be able to sense him responding, still he tried not to appear too eager. "You know well enough that I do."
"Sooth? Interesting, but what brings you here. This is not precisely your usual haunt." She was closing the distance between them, her gait a rolling one more suited to water than land, sheathing the blades as she approached. When she was close enough Cam pulled her against his body, one arm circling her waist, the other was riding up her back and toward her neck. "One of the boys brought a missive from your arena this morning and I thought to deliver it."
"From my arena?" She laughed, holding a hand out for the aforementioned letter. He placed a small paper in her waiting palm. "Tomas scribed it, it was a small note upon the cork board there, at your arena." He was teasing her now, kissing the top of her head as they walked.
"Hmm, someone is challenging me, bit of an odd bloke though in his wording." Mimicking a male voice. "If you want my reasons, speak with me, but I doubt you shall like my reasons." She laughed loudly before going on. "I suppose we will have to get you a pretty outfit so you look the part of my lord of honor." Tucking the paper in her pocket she'd send the response along later.
"Not a pretty outfit please, you know I do not like the ribbons." He teased as they walked down the street to the sound of her bright laughter.
Later she would pen the response and send one of her men to pin it to the cork board.
Warlord I accept your challenge and shall be in contact shortly with the details.

Challenge: Baron of the Old Market District
Evan was sitting on his old, but still too bright red couch positioned above the white sand in front of the crystal clear pool that a waterfall jetted into from hundreds of feet above. No house, hut, or any other structure was available for Evan had always lived outside in the elements with nature herself. Surrounded by tall, fuzzy grass bowing to the wind’s desires and then pure, endless woods, an enchantment by the grounds he lives upon itself to keep those whom would find him forever lost, a letter drops from the clouds above carried from the position that he let those of Rhydin know where he was to receive mail.
The letter came from the Baron of whom he challenged, a grin crossing his face as he read the letter. “Least this one is nae an arse like most I have encountered before. Too bad I need the ring itself for something a bit more than just what the sport allows else I would have left her alone.” Noting that he was once more talking to himself with no one around, Evan smirked and reached to his nightstand beside the couch, removing pen, ink, and paper. Kicking his bare feet in the sand gains, laying the acquired items on top of the nightstand, the Elfairy flicked his ice-blue hair away from his writing space and penned a letter back to the Baron to set a time and date for the issued challenge. Also, Evan gave somewhat of a reason to the Baron of why he wanted the ring, the first of the reason making it into the letter.
A breath of air escaped Evan as he looked up, rain clouds forming over “The Falls” as Evan had come to name this exotic location. Finishing the letter rather quickly, Evan placed the paper in an envelope and then stamped the back with House Rising’s mark. With a wave of his hand, the letter vanished, finding its way back to the Baron’s inbox.

The challenge for Old Market did occur this evening!
The Warlord challenger, Evan Rush Rynth, dueled under House Rising (founded by Zen Rising, former Baron and Overlord), with his personal banner of solid blue and white tethered at the end. He had no Second and he dueled for the honor of Lady Danu Rose Brimmer.
The Baroness defender, Brit Grey, dueled under a banner of black with a silver dragon emblazoned upon it. The gentleman Camui Rei stood by her side as her Second and Lord of Honor.
The challenge was decided in a single match format.
The Baroness opened with two straight, quick defensive points as the Warlord tried to press the attack and test her stance. They then met in the middle, cuts blocking the path to the other. From there, they both moved out of range in similar (but not identical) defensive maneuvers.
Dual thrusts put Evan on the board and the Baroness followed it up by out-positioning the Warlord's defense to bring her to match point. Another set of matched thrusts ended the duel, and the Baroness stood as winner.
The Baroness Brit Grey defeated the Warlord Evan Rush Rynth, 5-2 in 7 rounds, successfully defending her right to hold the Barony.
