Hrmm 3 of the current Barons were within the rings less than two weeks ago. Including the one being challenged in this issuance notice.

One, Tormay, is the current Duel of Swords Assistant Coordinator. Heaven forbid he stop helping out behind the scenes and step into the light.

The only two you can really raise a voice over are Aya and Deathlord.

Oh, and we just have a newly minted Baron of Dragon's Gate.

That's all seven accounted for, but who am I to do a little research before speaking my mind? Guess boot-leather is a preferred diet for some.

She peered at the long list of replies to the challenge, a curious look on her face.

A simple scrawled note, left with a snake's head pin.

I've never heard of a Xeric before. As a former Squire, I take offense to your childish blathering.

Real Warlords don't whine.

Signed, with the respect due to the sport,

The White Snake.

Gwen, Baroness Ravenlock, I publicly apologize for starting an argument so pointless I find myself unwilling to continue it. Gwen, I respect your activity in the Arena.

Roman...what is it that keeps you from a title? I can promise you the chance for an attempt at a defense. Hell, I figure I owe you that much.

We gathered to witness the challenge to the Baroness of Seaside, Wyheree!

The Baroness dueled under a banner with a Steel Grey Wolf howling against a Silver Moon, on a field of Ice Blue and Midnight Snowflakes. Her second was Xeno, and her Lord of Honor was Roran.

Gwen was colorless and banerless. Her second was Harris, and her Lord of Honor was David.

The Baroness chose the best of three format.

And off they went!

The first match was very one-sided with Gwen taking an early lead! But by the fifth round the score was 3-2 in Gwen's favor. Then Gwen scored two consecutive points and wham! Got the duel with a final score of 5-3.

Wyh and Gwen took a little break, had a drink, smooched their mens of honors. Then went at it again!

The second match was all nail-biting action! The score was tied most of the time! By the sixth round it was 4-4! Wyh and Gwen stared at each other! Stuck their tongues out at each other! Then, while hissing at each other, Gwen stepped around Wyh's defense to secure the win and the title!

Congratulations to Gwen, Baroness of Seaside!!

Gwen declared herself loyal to Overbabe Aya!
