Thank you to Teagan, Kal, Joey, Sal, Thorne, Siv and Tara for the RP tonight in the Outback. I was cackling (much to the husband's chagrin) much of the time.
It was fun while it lasted for me. I wish I hadn't been so tired, or I would have stayed!!! Great idea Jaycy. Let's do it again some time! And thanks to everyone who played or scowled at those playing. lol.

This may seem random, but today I found myself reading a very old story - one I'm incredibly sad that was never completed (though I hold out hope, 7 years later!) - that I think most people dueling/playing today haven't read, or are familiar with.
I know he only makes an appearance upon rare occasion, but then as now, Nova's player deserves accolades for his incredible creativity and contribution to the setting and characters of Rhydin.
I highly recommend taking the time to read the following (start with "The Setting" thread in order to get the background) and, like me, delight in imagining what might have been.

I, also, really love this storyline and am sad that it was never continued.

I suppose here is as good a place to say this as any.
I would like to thank you all for the extremely warm welcome I have received entering the dueling community. You have all been so kind and engaging, I really cannot find the words. You know who you are if you've only just talked to me once IC. There are just too many to name, that is how amazing that it is. It has made an otherwise normal sign-on into a chatroom the magical excursion that it can always be.
Again I thank you.

Any time Drak. You're one good person to play with. At the same time, I should probably extend my gratitude for everyone helping to point me around the website - teaching me a thing or two about the matrix (that's right - one day I'm gonna beat you all) and for being so very open minded.
