October All-Ranks Tournament

Hello, patrons of Twilight Isle!

It's once again time for the All-Ranks Tournament! And this one's got quite a lot going on! As always, anyone and everyone is permitted to enter, even those not yet listed on the standings! It will be taking place on Sunday, October 10th at 9:00 PM RDT, and Sai will be officiating. As with all All-Ranks Tournaments, the entire advanced tier will be available to every duelist, but no mage spells or furies may be used, including Keeper Gems or Tornadoes in Jars.

All wins earned in the tournament will be added to your official record! In addition to the wins, the first place winner will receive 2000 nobles and a guaranteed rank increase, the second place winner will win 1000 nobles, and the third place winner will receive 500 nobles! The tournament format will be decided according to the number of participants, but will likely be double elimination. Byes will be given according to the Ring of Klytus rankings.

Now, it's about 25 days too early, sure... but we're going to do this anyways: costume tournament! All duelists and spectators are encouraged to show up in costume! And everyone who enters the tournament will get to hang out with a vampire goblin for a week!

But wait, there's more!

The Tower of Air is still vacant, and we haven't held a tournament for it yet. Rest assured, it was completely deliberate. We have decided to shake things up and offer the Tower of Air as a prize in this tournament! The winner of the tournament will have the option to exchange their wins for the key to the Tower of Air. Current Keepers are, of course, ineligible and will receive wins no matter what. If the first prize winner declines to become the Keeper of Air, it will be offered to the second prize winner, then to the third prize, and so on until we have a new Keeper of Air. And if an Apprentice should become the Keeper in this fashion, they will have until the end of the cycle to be at the rank of Enchanter, or else the title will be stripped and offered in tournament.

Also, do note that the goblins dressed as vampires will not be sparkling. Any goblin caught sparkling will spend an hour in solitary confinement with Frank. (Provided we actually get the demon skunk's cooperation.)

Sign me up to. Granted magic might not be my strong point, but I'll sign up anyways.

As for David's outfit? He'll be wearing a full on biker outfit. All leather and nice and tight. Don't forget to whistle, ladies if you want to!

I will enter this tournament.

I would relish the oppurtunity to gain the Tower of Air and come one step closer to achieving what only the esteemed Lord Shadowcast has been able to accomplish, and that is hold each of the Elemental Towers.

I refuse to wear a costume.

Forgot to mention in the original post that each duelist will be allowed to use the entire advanced tier, so I've edited it to reflect that.
