August All-Ranks Tournament

Greetings, patrons of Twilight Isle.

It's time once again for the next All-Ranks Tournament. It will be taking place on Wednesday, August 18th, at 9:00 PM RDT ((EST)). Topaz will be officiating. As always, it is open to anyone and everyone, including those not on the standings. The format will be determined according to the number of participants.

Like all the other ARTs, this one has a theme: a harvest theme. All participants will get a goblin with a horn of plenty to hang out with them. You know, those horns with fruits and other food inside them. So participating means free food, pretty much. Not to mention that every win you get in the tournament is added to your wins on the standings.

And then there are the big prizes: For the winner, 2000 nobles and a guaranteed rank increase. For the runner up, 1000 nobles. And for third place, 500 nobles.

Results

A total of eleven participants met on Twilight Isle for the harvest tournament. It was fought in the double elimination format. It took eight tournament rounds to determine the overall winner: Vinny Smith. Mur placed second, Maranya placed third. While there could only be one winner, many have won smaller prizes and all are richer for the experience. The goblins have arrived and have set out to make their way to their new homes and all prizes have been awarded. Congratulations to all the winners.
