A Squire for Old Market

I have decided that I am in need of a Squire. With Baron Deathlord's own tournament coming to a close, I don't believe I will be interfering with anything. My previous Squire has done very well for himself, I would like to see if I can find another that can do the same.

Since I prefer to live in my own home, my Squire will have free reign of the Baronial Manor. Please do not damage anything, it should be in good condition for the next Baron. In exchange, I ask that my Squire help in the day to day business of running things.

My tournament will be open to all who wish to be Squire. It will be single elimination tournament that only the most skillful or most determined will will.

Registration is open to all duelists below the rank of Warlord.

The tournament will start on the 24th at 10EST. If there are enough participants, it will likely be split over two nights, either the next night or next weekend, whichever works best for those involved. It will be a simple single elimination tournament with a slight twist. All duelists will face me in a test of skill before the first match. It will be a five round match with no fancies. The score difference will determine your starting score on the first round.

So, if after five rounds, the score is 4-2 in your favor, you will start the first match of the tourny with a score of 2. If it ends 2-1 in my favor, you will start the first round with a score of -1.

This will continue throughout the tournament. The amount you defeat your opponent by will be your starting score the next round.

The maximum bonus you can have is plus 3 points. The least you can have (in the first round) is -2.

So, only the most skilled, those winning by a large margin, or the most determined, those winning despite the score being well against them, will win this tournament.

I have decided to postpone this tournament until a later date to be determined. As of right now, I only have two duelists that have decided to participate, and I am under challenge.

If I lose the challenge, I will sadly not be able to hold this tournament, but if I do retain the title, this tournament will happen. So, until it has been decided when this will be taking place, registration will remain open.

My challenge being over with Aya, I am reopening this tournament. Registration for it is open.

As I had two entries already, they will be given priority over anyone else if they still want to participate.

Also, any participants in Soerl's Squire tourney will have priority over anyone else. This way, they can wait until after the Squire of Dockside is decided and still enter this tournament if they wish.

Any entries past the first eight will be held on a waiting list in case those first eight are not able to make it.

I would like to announce my Squire... but it seems that this tournament will need to be rescheduled again. Last night, only two participants showed up on time, so no matches were fought.
