New Haven Squire Tourney!

So, here's the deal! The great and mighty Deathlord--ALL HAIL DEATHLORD!--has decided in his evil wisdom that he needs a squire. A DeathSquire! HeeHEE! Someone to represent his deathliness for those things his minions are too stooopid to handle! HAHAHA!

For those interested in taking on the mantle of DeathSquire (or "Squire of New Haven"), here's the skinny!

Applicants must sign up by April 1st! Preferably in blood, but apparently we can't require that.

The tourney will run from April 1st to April 11th.

Squire-hopefuls can score points as follows:

1 point per duel they fight during the tournament period.

1 point per win.

1 point for a win against another participant in the tourney. (Yes, you can duel the other entrants multiple times and score points each time you beat them. So do so!)

1 point for a shut-out.

With bonus points awarded for:

2 points for being undead (or becoming undead before 4/11). Obviously being dead is not a barrier to winning the tournament!

2 points for beating the squire of another baron. That one was my idea! Heehee!

2 points for killing an opponent. Yeah, yeah, the stooopid Ward thing makes that hard to do, but if it happens, it's worth points!

2 points for holding the favor of the Baron's Lady, Taneth. Don't ask me what magic she's worked on the great and mighty Deathlord, but as long as she holds his favor, if you can get hers it's worth 2 points! Only one applicant can hold the Lady's Favor.

The applicant who scores the most points over the period will be named squire. In the event of a tie, the tied applicants will face off in a single (hopefully bloody!) duel to determine whom shall be chosen.

There has been entirely too little DEATH in the rings!

Therefore, the great and mighty Deathlord has made a slight scoring modification for the second weekend of his squire tourney!

The revised bonus for killing someone in the rings (entrant or otherwise) will be 5 points, instead of just 2.

This should also make it easier to catch up for those entrants who may be a few points behind!

So get out there and spill some blood!

The second (and final) weekend of tourney dueling starts tonight!
