P-IMP for Overlord Thursday!

Our sources spotted Wolvie and Aly in the Red Dragon Inn for the first time in FOREVER! Really, it’s been far too long since we were subject to her craziness. This has got to be the longest engagement ever… or did they elope and not tell anyone? Nah! Aly would never do that to us! Anyway, we hear that Lang made some rather choice sexual comments about Aly…. and while Wolvie got grumpy about them he didn’t do ANYTHING! Seriously??? What happened to the days when a guy would knock another guy on his rear for saying something about what sexual positions his girl enjoyed? We hear that they did combine forces to mock Lang out of the Inn. Fine, fine. But either get into a nasty argument with one another, sucker punch a guy for messing with your girl, or get married already!

Are we really supposed to believe that Allan and Bee have no interest in one another beyond friendship??? Really??? You could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Not only have our sources continually spotted them together laughing and bordering on flirtatious since they met but he was seen introducing her to his friends Thursday night. We here that he introduced her to Mack who was quick to kid the couple about getting married. See, even clueless Mack sees it! Speaking of clueless Mack, we hear that she was seen later in the night getting close with Danny. It seems these two aren’t even hiding their attraction to one another anymore. You just can’t trust the men in this town to stay loyal! We hope that Lizzie comes back soon because she WILL go medieval on someone’s ass!

Imp was calling matches in the Arena and somehow managing to be even more obnoxious than usual. It seems that he was pinning pretty much everybody with “I HEART IMP FOR OVERLORD!” pins, including the Overlord’s loyal barons and Wrecking Crew teammates. Yet again, however, nobody took a swing at him despite his antics. One of these days Imp’s going to take a beat down. We’re just not entirely sure who it will be that will eventually snap.

Our sources overheard Sarah asking Kalinda if she wanted to “get [Sarah] warmed up”. We’re pretty sure that more than one jaw in the placed dropped clear to the floor. Then Kalinda was overheard saying that she would inform Imp of their intentions. Oh, we bet that’s some action that the P-Imp would want in on! Evidently the two girls were just talking about a duel, though. Total bummer.

Well, Kalamere has now slept with the easiest baroness of the bunch in Lil’ Black Book Jaycy and it seems he’s now moving to the next of the baroness triumvirate in Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan. The pair were seen chatting together for quite a while and the innuendos were fast and furious! Are we the only ones that feel like Kalamere is up to something but just can’t quite figure out what it is??? Is there a political motivation behind why he seems so set on seducing and bedding the baronesses??? Or is he just attracted to women who hold titles in the Arena??? With three very different personalities and three very different looks (a short redhead, a tall blonde, and an average brunette), it’s not like they all fit the same mold. Any ideas???

We were thrilled to see two off-the-wall nut jobs who we haven’t seen in some time in Crazy Train Tara and Sullen Sal! Sullen Sal seemed set on one thing and one thing only for the night — busting heads. Tara, on the other hand, was pretty well occupied with a slave boy who was missing a tongue. Evidently the slave was a gift from Dawn. Yep, you read that right. Dawn. What wife would give her husband’s mistress a present??? If we were Tara we’d be a little nervous that this slave might kill us in our sleep! Tara’s behavior got increasingly odd through out the night as she has the tendency of doing. Sal was seen laying one heck of a kiss on her and at one point Lucky Lawyer Lucien even had to talk her out of killing another patron. Just another day in the life of L.L. Lucien!

Engagement Crazed Friday!

Maybe it was because of the second round Madness action going on downstairs but the Red Dragon Inn was crazy quiet Friday night. Juliane was behind the bar serving the sparse crowd and Lil’ Bit Lirssa spent some time chatting with her. Our sources tell us that Juliane seemed a bit uneasy about the state of the gallery. She was overheard saying that she wishes it was a bit more busy. Come on, people! We have to support the arts more in this town! It’s ridiculous that sporting venues, like the Arena and Outback, can be packed on a near nightly basis but we can’t get a crowd to enjoy some art. All the interns and I are taking a field trip this week to enjoy some fabulous works by local artists and we encourage you to do the same!

Wow, wow, wow! Doc Eva was seen admiring a rock on Mira’s left ring finger Friday night and Mira confirmed that it is exactly what we were all hoping for! It seems that Cowboy Jake has indeed asked Marvelous Mira to be his wife. How fantastic is that??? We hear that the usual understated and private Mira totally lit up at the mention of the ring and the proposal. She is going to be an absolutely stunning bride! No news on how he proposed or if a date has been set but as soon as we hear, we’ll be sure to pass it on to you all!

In more surprising engagement news, our sources are telling us that Sarah was overheard telling Misty in the Annex Friday night that she and Rix are ENGAGED!?!?! WHAT??? Has anybody ever even spotted them together. Now, sure, Rix does have a reputation of jumping from girl-to-girl like nobody’s business but… engaged??? Did anybody know that Rix is even in town??? We hear that she seemed over the moon excited and was sporting quite the rock. We wonder if Nova and Sartan even know. This is so odd. We’re not entirely sure if she’s some crazy stalker chick who has made this whole thing up in her head or if Rix is really getting that desperate to get girls into bed that he’s now asking them to marry him.

We hear that Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan and Maria were overheard discussing how Rowdy Rekah (who was busy beating her Madness opponent, Lil’ Black Book Jaycy… which we’ll go into in more detail in our upcoming article for the Dueling News) has sex with Cassius. The girls’ discussion was a little raunchy even for us so we’re not going to detail it. What was informative from the conversation, however, was that Teagan claims that she’s the one who set this pair up. Booooo, Teagan, boooo! What were you thinking??? There’s just something so inherently wrong about cute, innocent Rekah dating Cas!

The recently reinstated warlord, Sylus, and the Mockery of New Haven (and by “Mockery” we mean Baron and, of course, we mean it in the best sense of the word so keep your minions away from the Den of Gossip), Deathlord, gathered in the Annex to lay it all on the line for the right to be the holder of the barony ring representing New Haven. Deathlord’s minions were out in full force again! Like the two previous challengers, things didn’t go so well for Sylus. Deathlord defended the New Haven barony in two straight duels.

Go Fish Saturday!

Remember that Kate girl that we said was overheard saying she didn’t know where her husband was??? Well, either she found him and didn’t like what she found or she stopped looking because she evidently was seen in the Red Dragon Inn Saturday night announcing that she had signed the official documents and was now a free woman. We hear that she was also overheard saying that she didn’t think she was going to tell her current boyfriend about the ex-husband. What??? Do you women really do that to men??? Is there no place for honesty in relationships in RhyDin??? You’ve got to tell your new man that you’ve been married before! You’d be pissed if he didn’t tell you, wouldn’t you???

Mack was seen in the Inn telling Allan and Bee that her man left her and she’s now trying to get rid of her flat since it’s more room than she needs. Well, yeah, boyfriends have a tendency of leaving when you CHEAT ON THEM! No sympathy, sister! Not an ounce of it. You deserve what you get and karma is a you-know-what so watch your backside! Mack was evidently teasing Allan and Bee about taking her place and moving in together. We’re pretty positive this relationship is going to take off in a fast and furious sort of way.

Harris was seen in the Inn with his hair combed and wearing a tie. It turned out that he had taken Collie out to dinner! Reaaaaally??? Our sources spotted Collie telling a drunk Darien about the dinner date. Huh. We have to wonder what Collie’s up to. She definitely made it sound like a date but Collie’s not the type to go after a married man, just a younger one. And she spent most of her night in an intimate chat with Darien who seemed out of sorts even before he got the news of the dinner that Harris and Collie shared. Iiiiinteresting! Harris, on the other hand, spent the night oogling every beautiful woman who walked through the door. He tried to convince Aolani to let him teach her how to play Go Fish, he congratulated Kalinda for making Warlord, and he yelled catcalls at Sivanna when she walked through the door. He’s really just cruising for some serious trouble with all these women around him all the time! In fact, we hear that Aolani didn’t get the rules of Go Fish. She just kept asking about when in the game she was supposed to take off her clothes and what cards meant that she was supposed to kiss Harris. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, Harris!

We hear that game of Go Fish got broken up by some sort of confrontation between Aolani and some shape-shifting cat-woman named Riley. There was evidently a brawl… and we suppose we should make some sort of obligatory cat fight joke but that’s really too corny even for us. We have no idea what it was about but it certainly wasn’t pretty. Riley evidently accused Aolani of betraying her and Aolani told Riley she was too messed up to be saved. There’s a lot of women like that in RhyDin. We’re betting it was over a man because it usually is.

Our sources were unable to catch most of it but we do hear that Crazy Train Tara got into it with Dillon and Harris later into the night. We have no idea how they annoyed her but with the pair of them it really could have been anything. We do know that Tara’s revenge involved her trusty old chainsaw and we’re relatively sure that Dillon and Harris both survived the encounter. And if they didn’t, would they really be such a loss???

The Madness action was hot and heavy down in the Arena! The gossip, however, was a little light. We hear that Kalinda had her eye on a strapping new duelist named Roderick. She didn’t seem to be hiding her intentions either. Also, we hear that Kalamere was seen leaving the Arena later in the night with Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan at his side. That’s two out of three for those of you that are keeping count at home. He’s only got one more to go before he has the whole box set!

Winter Talon of Redwin!

The Talon of Redwin Tournament, in honor of the GREAT former Overlord Siera Redwin, is the perfect time to witness some of the Arena’s hottest new talent go head-to-head! To make it even better the tournament is sponsored by Red Orc Brewery which makes Badsider Brew! The Arena’s hottest young talent dueling their hearts out + the title holders watching for their new competition + Badsiders flowing freely = an excellent night of drama!

Kalinda was on hand to watch the event but this was the first time she was not eligible to enter herself as she has just recently rose to Warlord status. That didn’t keep her from being an active participant, though. With rumors abound that she has her eye on Roderick, she announced herself as the prize of the first round match-up between Roderick and Porthos. Roderick won that one amidst quite a few comments from Kalinda about how good his legs looked in the kilt he was wearing.

Rhaine was in the competition and rather confused as to why some in the crowd were a little afraid of her. After all, she claims that she’s harmless despite enjoying a bloody snack and having fangs. You know what we’ve learned? Don’t trust anything that may see you as a snack. And if they ask you to climb into their oven to clean the spot in the very back??? DON’T DO IT!!! She does have a big fan in Napoleon who was overheard saying that Rhaine always makes him great ice cream sundaes. Eh, we’re still not so sure! Maybe rat blood just isn’t very tasty!

We’re a little torn about children in dueling venues around all the blood, foul language, and violence but Rhiannon’s daughter sure is adorable! We hear that Rhiannon was there with her preschooler to cheer on her friends. The girl fell asleep pretty early into the rounds and Rhiannon held her while she slept until the end of the tournament. Adorable! We just have to wonder what happens to these kids that become so desensitized to all the violence! Although, Rhiannon herself grew up around the rings and seems perfectly well adapted. In fact, she seems more normal than most in RhyDin!

What is going on between Archmage Sivanna and Sullen Sal??? She was overheard asking Harris the night before if he had seen Sal and then last night seemed a bit concerned when she herself saw him in the Annex after his exit from the Talon tournament. We hear that they were seen having an intimate chat but we have no details what they were talking about. Curious, no??? We cannot figure out what the common link between the two of them is. Do any of you have any details???

Rekah showed that her amazing Madness run is no fluke by putting in quite the performance! She made it into the final match but was not able to get past Roderick. He took the 5-3 win in eleven rounds in the finals and became the Talon of Redwin!

Life’s Fantastic Sunday!

With the second round of Madness dueling wrapping up in the Annex and the Talon of Redwin Tournament unfolding in the Arena, the Red Dragon Inn was pretty vacant Sunday night. The lovely Sjira was seen in the Inn for a while chatting with a man who seemed to be trying to give her quite a lot of money. Men handing large sums of money out to pretty young women always gets our attention…. even more so when the pretty young woman in question is the apple of the proprietor’s eye! We have to wonder what Head Pussy Panther will think of this news!

Barbie’s back it seems. She drove that crazy car of her’s right up into the Inn and popped out as if she was ready for a flood of paparazzi. She is more than a little nuts. We hear that Taneth was super excited to see her and made Lucky Lawyer Lucien promise to take her to get a doll the next day… so public appearance score for Barbie! That girl Riley who got into the big brawl in the Inn the night before was certainly a fan. We hear that she totally stopped paying attention to the rather hot man who seemed into her to send her love to Barbie. That actually scores her points in our book!

The dueling fanatics that weren’t in the Arena watching the Talon of Redwin Tournament go down were hanging out in the Annex to watch the last of the second round of Madness duels shake out. Harris and his former flame FLAWLESS Koy were seen tossing back drinks and looking a little too chummy. It seemed that Koy was juuuuust about to open up to Harris about her troubles when her husband, the Gov MAN-tastic Matt, came wandering over to complain about his dueling troubles. SERIOUSLY, Matt??? That’s the most pressing matter you have right now??? Have you not noticed that your wife seems incredibly depressed these days??? OMG! He may be nice to look at but he’s no rocket scientist, that’s for sure.

For some reason, Crazy Train Tara was head over heels about Porthos. We’re not really sure why. She was actually acting a bit shy around him. While in the middle of flirting with Kalamere, Crazy Train Tara saw Slutty Pirate Girl Teagan walk up to Porthos and kiss him and nearly blew a gasket. She was overheard telling Kalamere that you couldn’t just walk up to an important man like Porthos and kiss him. Well, there’s a lot about tact that needs to be explained to Teagan. Anyway, Kalamere seemed pretty amused about the whole thing. That man just has no sense of self-preservation AT ALL!

Our sources didn’t catch the entire thing but evidently later into the night Harris was seen fleeing into the Annex with some ninjas hot on his trail. Yeah, you read that right. Ninjas. Not angry fathers or ripped off customers or murderous husbands…. but ninjas. It evidently had something to do with his wife’s former ward, Samiyah, who the ninjas seemed to be after. Thanks to a blade being thrown his way from the crowd of onlookers, Harris managed to dispatch the attackers. We’re not all that terribly surprised that there are people actively trying to kill Harris. We’re more surprised that this doesn’t happen on more of a daily basis.

Knowing in the Biblical Sense Monday!

Is it just us or was that Kate being awfully vague about how she knows Ali??? Our sources say that The Many Faces of Fio was overheard questioning her (as casually as it is possible to ask “HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW MY HUSBAND, WENCH?!?!?!”) Monday night in the Red Dragon Inn and Kate wasn’t all that forthcoming. Reaaaaally? How much do you want to bet that Ali and this Kate had a thing??? We already know that Ali likes his women beautiful and just a little bit nuts!

Fio was later heard chatting with one of Our Darling Taneths and some disturbing news came up in their conversation. It seems that when Fio asked Taneth how many Taneths there are, Taneth replied that there isn’t as many as there used to be. That’s a little scary, isn’t it??? What do YOU think happened to the missing Taneths??? We had hope in the beginning that they would all be reunited as one but we’re quickly starting to lose that hope. The longer this goes on the more it seems like it will have a tragic ending. So, so sad!

Speaking of tragic, that’s just how the night turned out. In the middle of the crowded Inn, two (or three depending on the source) gunshots rang out. Everybody ducked for cover and when people started getting up, one person didn’t — Fury. Considering the fact that she had just entered the bar and our sources say that the only shots that were fire struck her dead center, it certainly seems that she was the object of some sort of hit. Poor child Taneth was in the room and quite shaken by the whole event. Ugh. How awful! We have a feeling that Panther is not going to be happy about this at all. We hear that the Divine Mrs. Storm kept Taneth occupied while her husband Ewan helped Fio get the body upstairs. Lucky Lawyer Lucien and Crazy Train Tara (who is still referring to Taneth as her and Lucky’s child much to Lucky’s chagrin) showed up shortly thereafter to help calm little Taneth down.

Oddly enough Fio stayed upstairs with the body for quite a while. We hear that Veighn showed up and tried to get Fio to let him in the room. Fio was very adamant that he should stay away. Their argument could actually be heard in the common room. Ewan actually had to go up and convince him to leave by promising to get him a drink.

This whole situation is very, very odd. We don’t really know what else can be said about it so we’re going to move right on to what happened in the Outback!

We hear that the ever cheerful Duci was spotted in the Outback Monday night for the first time in for-freaking-ever! We do love Duci because she can always be overheard spilling all sorts of great gossip. She’s broken some of our biggest stories for us! We do so love bubbly blondes with big mouths here at the Den of Gossip! Speaking of people who haven’t been seen in FOREVER, Dris was spotted on the couch! Yay! We are so glad he’s back! He always seems to put himself smack dab in the middle of interesting situations!

OMG! Will someone PLEASE tell us why FLAWLESS Koy is looking so darn miserable??? It’s driving us bonkers! We hear that she was again seen moping around the Outback but evidently after Cutie Carley offered to let FLAWLESS Koy dress her, she seemed to be in a bit better of a mood. Our sources tell us that Cutie Carley looked pretty smoking and not so much like a twelve year old when she came out of the locker room after Koy got done with her. If Cutie Carley let Koy dress her all the time she may have to become Hottie Carley!

Juliane was seen in the Outback strangely enough. Yep, Juliane of the Smith clan! She was evidently chatting about her art gallery with Cy… who is evidently something of an artist! Imagine that! After all the stories we’ve heard of him and his legendary mouth, we can’t help but admit we’re a little surprised at the news. The pair seemed to get along swimmingly and had quite the little discussion on art. Juliane seemed in a much better mood than she had several nights earlier and Cy really seemed to be on his best behavior!

Dris was overheard questioning Rekah about her relationship with Cassius! FINALLY! Somebody is finally showing some concern about whatever Cassius is doing to Rowdy Rekah! Rekah was overheard saying that Cassius has never asked to be her “boyfriend” and that he really is more of a “man-friend” anyway. Dris encouraged her to call him her “lover” instead. WHAT?!?! Dris, you’re supposed to be on our side here! Anyway, Rekah said she couldn’t because Tara hadn’t given her the birds and the bees talk yet… which finally gained some concern (or maybe more appropriately, humor) from Dris. Ugh. Seriously, Cassius??? You’re dating a woman who needs a birds and the bees talk…. and is going to get it from Crazy Train Tara!!!

Save the Garden Gnomes Tuesday!

For crying out loud! Is there a classy bone in Darcy’s body??? Would she know classy if it walked up and popped her upside the head??? She was overheard Tuesday night in the Red Dragon Inn trying to get another jello wrestling event together. You know, some people work to find homes for orphans, some people fight evil monsters threatening to take over the city, some people try to stomp out poverty and Darcy tries to bring people together to drink copious amounts of alcohol and waste food by rolling around in it so that men can drool over her. Fantastic. And, of course, Dean was feeling the action. Ugh. To make matters worse she was actively promoting the event and trying to get women to sign up. AND IT WAS WORKING!!! We hear that even our adorable Amber started talking about wearing a bikini to wrestle around in some jello. Say it ain’t so!

It just seemed a night entirely based on drinking, debauchery, and dumb kids. Aaron rolled in trying to get people to vote for him as he campaigned on a platform of wet t-shirts, beer, and girl-on-girl action. Wonderful. We hear that Quinn eagerly agreed to support him. Big shock there. Maybe she and Dean are made for one another.

We hear that at least Susan was not feeling Aaron’s pitch for governor. She told him that wet clothes and politics don’t mix and that if he touches her he may not keep his hand. Awesome. That girl scores some major brownie points in our book!

It certainly doesn’t seem like this Kate would have anything in common with Fio… other than maybe that they have both banged Ali. Oh, come on. You know you think Kate has too! Anyway, it seems they’ve been getting along swimmingly. The pair were again seen chatting at the bar and then seem to be becoming fast friends. Since Kate seems way more normal than the people that Fio usually hangs out with, we’ve got to think that this is a good thing. Kate was overheard asking Fio when her due date is so we finally know when to expect the baby! Fio said late August or early September! A fall baby! Yay!

That mystery guy who we mentioned was seen with that Riley girl has a name and it’s evidently Daniel. The pair were seen chatting with Kendall (Yep, Kendall! Haven’t seen her around in forever!) and we hear that he’s opening an Indian restaurant here in RhyDin! Awesome! Give me some naan and kadai chicken and I’m one happy boy! We can’t wait until that place opens up. He seems on the surface to be a pretty decent catch. A man that can and is willing to cook definitely deserves a second look. If you ladies are interested you better get a move on. It sure looks to us like Riley is getting ready to lay claim on him…. if she hasn’t already!

Duci looked on in a mixture of horror and amusement as Crazy Train Tara roasted a gnome and then fed it to Sal…. in the middle of the Inn. That odd combination of horror and amusement seems to follow Crazy Train Tara wherever she goes. We understand that Darcy was actually seen carving the gnome like a turkey. OMG! GNOMES HAVE FEELINGS TOO!!! Some celebrity should take “Save the Garden Gnomes!” on as their next big publicity stunt — eh, we mean “charity project”, of course.

Thorne was seen calling on Twilight Island Tuesday night. We hear that he was overheard trying to come up with a nickname for Esperwind. Ehhh… probably not a good idea. One of his friends should clue him in on Esper’s reputation. He’s not a nickname sort of guy. We do have to admit that we’re glad that Esper’s back but we’re waiting on pins and needles to see who he will lay into first! If Thorne’s not careful, it may very well be him! Our sources spotted him in a ring at some point with Archmage McPretty (we just had to steal the nickname Harris gave her) Sivanna! What an interesting match, no??? It seems she and that husband of her’s, Alec, are still doing well. Bummer! We still have hopes that someday she’ll realize that she’s desperately in love with Neo.

Romance Lessons Wednesday!

The Many Faces of Fio showed up as one of her other selves Wednesday night in the Red Dragon Inn much to her new friend, Kate’s confusion. Fio really should warn people when meeting them that she’s absolutely bonkers. It would certainly make their lives a lot easier. However, it would also be a lot less amusing… so, on second thought, just keep not telling them. We have to wonder how a small child is going to deal with his/her mother changing personalities like that. Ugh. We love Ali and Fio. We’re just not sure how this is going to work out. Fio’s going to need a lot of support and she just doesn’t seem to have it.

Too late, ladies! We told you that this Daniel seemed a bit too good to stay single long in this town! The restaurant owner is handsome and doesn’t seem to have any weird tendencies at first glance. Well, Riley seems to think the same thing! They’ve been seen together in the Inn quite a bit lately and last night she was overheard asking him out on a date. We like girls who know what they want and don’t wait for men to make the first move! Get him, girl! She looked pretty hot too in a pencil dress and with her hair and makeup done smartly. And he was no fool! He accepted her invitation for dinner and a movie. Who wouldn’t???

Evidently Darcy hasn’t been reading our blog… or she was playing dumb to give Lilli a hard time. Knowing Darcy and her love to hear about herself, we’re pretty sure she’s not skipping our blog and that she was actually just playing dumb. Anyway, Darcy gave Zev the third degree to find out exactly what his relationship with Lilli was. The pair were very vague but it was clear to everyone, including clueless Darcy, that they’re quite together. Good for Lilli! We sure hope that he treats her as well as she deserves to be treated!

Porthos seemed to be giving lessons in romance to Renne in the Outback Wednesday night. Iiiinteresting. We’re not really sure that Renne has any need for that and if we were going to be getting lessons in romance we’re not exactly sure that Porthos is who we’d go to… but whatever. We hear that the Frenchman was handing out flowers and sappy soliloquies. If nothing else, Porthos sure is entertaining! While our sources may have been entertained, Renne just seemed a bit confused.

Considering it is the night before the start of the next round of Madness dueling, things might be starting to look rosy for Jake! His opponent for this coming round, Maria, was seen looking mighty worn down and ill in the Outback. She had a quiet conversation with her teammate, Kheldar, and then had some sort of confrontation with Kalamere before stalking out. Kalamere didn’t linger long on whatever went down between them because Teagan was on hand to distract him. It seems she was trying to get him to say that she’s his favorite baroness. Iiiiinteresting? Could this all just be some sort of power struggle between the baronesses with Kalamere in the middle? Now THAT would be amusing! If that’s what’s going on, he certainly doesn’t seem to be complaining!

Kalamere also had a conversation with Ms. Wyh Not about her struggle to become a warlord! She’s so close now and we’re so excited for her! Just two more wins and there will be a Ravenlock among the upper ranks. How exciting! Anyway, it seems that Wyh is definitely interested in challenging when she does make rank but is still torn about whether to challenge on principle or because she’s interested in the district.
