Challenge for Dockside

To Whom It May Concern:

Although my experience with Mr. Vanion Shadowcast is limited, I have seen enough to know that he is not the type of individual that I believe should hold title in these rings. His needless degredation of fellow duelists is sufficient to warrant this challenge, but the fact that he is allied with a slaver, who I am ashamed to admit is our current Overlord, makes this an easy choice.

To that end, I'd like to announce that I intend to challenge Vanion Shadowcast for Barony over Dockside as soon as I am able.

I am looking forward to this surprise, Baron Shadowcast. That being said, I wouldn't get ahead of myself if I were you and assume that this tournament I've heard rumors about will happen. After all, Baronies, it seems, have become rather tenuous positions.

The challenge for Dockside was nothing short of a spectacle. The Baron came in flanked by his acolytes carrying a crucified female. It was a disturbing sight to say the least for most in attendance.

The format of the night was to be an intercession. Overlord Karos stepped into on Behalf of Loyal Baron Shadowcast only to have Renegade Baroness Ashleana step up to Champion Warlord Rodlain. The Official had to request that the Crucifix be removed from the rings as it was an impedance to the Overlord.

The Baroness quickly dispatched the Overlord, paving the way for the challenge to take place.
