I am most definetly NOT going to be loyal to you.

Also, I am going to take that title away from you before you do any harm with it. Someone as deranged as you should not be in any position of power. It is hard enough as is having enough duelists in the rings to have an opponent, wouldn't be much help if you went around and killed them all because they forgot to address you properly.

Don't worry too much though, I will make sure there is a room available in the best mental ward this side of the nexus waiting for you, O supremely delusional duelist.

The standings have yet to be posted. Thusly, due to your carelessness, I am ordering your ability to challenge for the remainder of the cycle stripped, and your name shall have the honor of christening my execution list by being the first fresh blood to stain the newly sharpened blade upon the guillotine currently being built center ring in the Arena.

Not as careless as you think, I have yet to send notice to the standings keeper of my challenge, and have been waiting for the update to the standings. Later this week it will be submitted through all the proper channels, I was just letting you know that I intend to be the first.

Although, I never had a guillotine named after me. Sounds like an honor.

I challenge you for your title of Overlord. My reasons should already be known, so I won't state them here. I look foward to the duel, there won't be a tie this time.

Putrid Hog,

You should be ashamed of yourself for even attempting to seize a title I so rightfully deserve over you, for you are hardly even a Master at Arms. I find this challenge to be a travesty of legitimacy, and an insult to anyone of justly, qualifiable rank. You're not a Baron. You're a gift. I refuse to stand here and let you make a mockery of this sport.

I hope there is someone out there with the sound sense to agree with me, and shall be there at my side to duel this peasant so I don't have to waste my time in a ring dirtying my shoes for this CLEARLY unworthy, illegitimate man of filth.

I accept this challenge merely because I have to, and I plan to lop this gentleman's head off when this is all over.

So dear Gift, after I have hollowed out your head with a silver spoon, it shall be decaying on a pike outside the Arena door any time your ghostly form comes back for a fleeting visit.

I haven't forgotten my promise, Overlord Drey. I found the perfect place for you. It has these really soft walls, and they give you crayons to draw with after lunch. Everyday there are going to have someone that talks with you to work through your emotions and problems. They are really friendly, which I don't think you will appreciate, but that seems to be the only problem, which I am sure your bright and cheery personailty will fix that in no time.

It was my duty and honor to officiate at Friday night's Overlord Challenge. The challenger was the Baron of Dragon's Gate, Tormay Eludes. He dueled under the colors of light blue, black, and gold. His Second was Topaz Datrazanov, and Taneth Mercer was his Lady of Honor in absentia.

Overlord Drey Starke dueled sans colors, Second, or Lady of Honor. The decorum of the event was marred by the execution-style murder of an unidentified man by Drey shortly after his entrance to the Arena.

Drey invoked the Test of Worthiness, naming Warlord Erin Dunbridge as his proxy. She accepted the duty, though begrudgingly. Expecting to be tested, Tormay intended for Topaz to intervene as Champion. She would not, though, as the Baroness of Old Temple stepped forward. Unaligned until that moment, Teagan declared herself Renegade and claimed the right to be Tormay's Champion.

The Test Match was over quickly and decisively. Erin lead after two rounds, but Teagan proceeded to score four unanswered points en route to a 5-1.5 victory in 7 rounds. The Overlord would have to defend his title personally.

The Challenge Match proper was a long one due to six mirror rounds out of seven. A dual impalement in Round 3 put the score at 2-1, Drey. There would be no change in score until Round 9 when Tormay ended the mirroring and tied the score with another thrust. The challenger stayed one step ahead from there on, giving up only another half point on his way to a 5-2.5 victory in 13 rounds. Drey's reaction to the loss was to throw his sword across the Arena and departing without it.

All hail Tormay Eludes, 80th Overlord of the Duel of Swords! Drey is now the Baron of Dragon's Gate.
