Challenge for Old Market
Baron Xenograg,
There is a personal matter between us that I feel hasn't been satisfied. I believe this matter is between two men and I will not go into the details of this unfortunate occurrence on a public board.
I will be honored to step into the challenge ring with the man that is widely considered the Godfather of the Duel of Swords.
Xeric

I accept this challenge. The former Overlord and I will correspond to choose a time, place, and official for the match.

The choice of caller remains Xeric's decision.

Xeric was not present this evening for the Challenge. I do not know the reason why, but give him the benefit of the doubt.
We will reschedule the match as quickly as possible. This may require us to go beyond the two-week window allowed by the rules. I will petition the DoS Coordinator to grant an extension.
(OOC: I will be out of town for the entire holiday weekend, thus is my fault we cannot reschedule within the usual window. ))

Warlord Xeric,
I await your choice of a date and time. I am not available on Friday, and it is too late to hold it tonight.
Wyheree has offered to officiate, if her schedule permits. She is not usually available until 9:30 ET or later.

On December 3rd, at 10pm, I did witness the challenge made to the Lord Xenograg, Baron of Old Market, by Xeric. The Baron dueled under a banner of yellow and black, with Amaltea as his Lady of Honor (in absentia), and Alais D'Nightsong as his second. Xeric dueled alone this evening. The Baron chose a single duel to decide this challenge.
After 11 rounds, gong into overtime, Lord Xenograg successfully defended his right to the Barony of Old Market. Congratulations to Lord Xenograg, and well fought Xeric!
