I've been toying with the idea of a lower ranks tournament similar to one held by Jeff Oakenshield some years ago where the winner got to stand in Jeff's place as Baron for a short time. There is no time like the present and the WLT is just right around the corner so now is the time.

ATTENTION EVERYONE BELOW THE RANK OF WARLORD!!!!!!!!

I will be hosting a single elimination tournament Tuesday the 16th at 9:00 est. The winner of this tournament will get to stand in my place as Overlord for a week (check with G on fancy restrictions). Only the first 10 entries will be accepted. To enter reply on this board and or write me (PM).

I'm pushing the tournament back to 10est [on Tuesday the 16th] and there is a baron willing to offer his ring (for a week) as a second place prize.

We'll only sponsor the two prizes for this tournament. Just the Rank of Overlord and One Barony. Xeric may choose between the two Barons which one he will offer for the tourney.

While I don't understand why you would want to limit title holders from doing something to benefit and encourage the lower ranks, I have received only four responses to the tournament so I can see why three prizes would be too many. Xenograg was the first to offer his title publicly, however, I had made a private agreement with Tormay prior to Xenograg's announcement so I will honor my agreement with Tormay and chose Dragon's Gate as the consolation prize.

There is still a couple of days left and I have six empty slots if anyone wants to sign up.
