My lords and ladies, greetings.

It is with the greatest regret that I write to inform you all of my withdrawal from the Duel of Swords Madness Tournament. During my match with Master Alyxz in the Athlstan Division Final I received a wound that I fear will keep me out of commission for quite some time. Perhaps during my recovery I can reflect on my "inner rat," as Master Bonarat has suggested.

Now with the unpleasantries aside, I would like to most heartily commend the staff of the Duel of Swords and all those involved in organizing this wonderful tournament. It was innovative and a breath of fresh air that some would argue our great sport needed. It is my personal belief that the tournament can be considered nothing but a tremendous success. I have been honoured to have participated in the inaugural tournament, to receive as high a seed as I did, and to have advanced to the final four. Bravo and thank you to everyone involved, and an extra thank you to the community for a marvelous showing.
