What are the moves?

These are the moves allowed in the Duel of Swords and their abbreviations.

Offensive: (1 point)

Thrust          = TH - A quick stabbing attack 
Low Cut         = LC - An attack towards the lower body. 
High Cut        = HC - An attack towards the upper body. 
Slash           = SL - A diagonal slice designed to destroy most defensive moves. 
Stop Hit        = SH - Uses an opponent's momentum against them to deliver a counter attack. 

Defensive: (1/2 point)

Circular Parry  = CP - A deflective maneuver that protects the lower half of the body. 
Lateral Parry   = LP - Intercepts an attack to the upper area of the body. 
Sidestep        = SS - A dodge to one side. 
Duck            = DK - A drop into a crouch. 
Disengage       = DI - A backward movement meant to distance oneself from an opponent. 

The first 5 are considered offensive and score a full point when successful.
The last 5 are considered defensive and are meant to be protective or to gain an advantage so they score half a point unless modified by using a fancy.

How you play the attack is up to the player. Like, a High Cut being a "raised horizontal swing" might be Role played differently from player to player, and according to the weapon a character may use.
