Brigath has given a tentative yes to officiating the match but in case something arrises, a back up would be appreciated.

Dear Artemus,

Thanks to the books you left when you lost your tower, I've managed to learn everything I need to know about earth magic. Keeping the tower is superflous, when I can do everything and more without the aide of some hidey-hole in the cliff, and a key made of semi-precious stone.

Fair warning, however. Don't think this is a sign of weakness. I can match you blow for magical blow. I am, however, reserving my energies for more ....interesting.... pursuits.

I'm glad that someone found better use for those tomes than I did, as most of the things in them I already knew. But your reasons for doing this are your own and to make some childishly snide remark about it being a show of weakness is beneath of me.

Good luck in whatever those "pursuits" may be.

What a @#%@ joke. With the current pathetic rules of the Isle, anyone could become a Keeper. Artemus should have to fight a Champion and still prove his ability in order to hold a Key. As it was, his constant rescheduling is the reason that the Keeper resigned - out of annoyance at his lack of commitment. And now he holds a Keeper's Tower?

I can only express my sincerest hopes that the majority of those who frequent the Isle suffer very painful deaths by some unseen force that only Artemus is "qualified" to stop.
