Esper's Retirement

For those not yet aware, I'm finally retiring as a host. I've just been doing this for so long (8+ years) it's not fun anymore, and the patrons deserve someone who can bring a bit more energy to my shift.

Blame Esper's personality on AOL host training. His cold and cruel smiles are a result of "smiling from the wrists down," and he could be painfully nice if required. They never said they had to be bouncy, happy smiles. They really should have been more specific!

Anyway, Esper and my other characters won't be disappearing, so this isn't goodbye. I'll still be around to play, and my characters will hopefully be more involved than in the recent past.

Say it ain't so! Who can Harris annoy now on the Isle with his inane banter? Ahh well. You most certainly deserve a break after all these years. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks for all you've given to the RoH. It's gonna be kinda odd to not have Esper on the caller's couch. But it's reassuring to know you'll still have your characters around. It's been a long haul and you most certainly deserve the rest But, selfishly, I'm going to miss calling with you like the old days. Just don't be a stranger now that I'm finally back, eh?
