This and That. NJ #8

You slimy snake! I have not written in you for days and days. You can not say that I did not warn you! I told you from the very first day that we met I would NOT be faithful to you!!!!

That being said I have so much to tell you today.

I was offered a ninja protector. I think he wanted to be more than just my ninja protector even after he had met Jean because as soon as he caught sight of Kibi he informed me that he thought I no longer needed a ninja protector.

I however had been telling him all along that I knew I could beat him up with one hand tied behind my back so what good would that protection have been I ask you!? If I had wanted a ninja protector I think that I would have asked Hanzo to protect me. It isn’t as though Hanzo would not protect me now. Besides my boy toy is a Bounty Hunter. Sheesh!!

There is a new Slaver that has returned to town. I guess I should say and old Slaver that has come back to town. Who cares they are a Slaver. They claimed they were going to hold a Slaver’s Ball in the RDI and I informed them it would be over my dead body.

They attempted to inform me that could be arranged. Well they were approaching me with what I am sure was dreadful intentions. Being a Slaver I know they were carrying Collars on their person! Jodiah stepped in between us from out of the blue!! I’m going to owe him a few drinks for rescuing me like that.

This was all a few days ago now and I don’t remember if I thanked him or not but I sure hope that I did. I was pretty mad and upset at the time. I told that Travanix person off good. Then they started doing that Sith Lord mind talking to me thing but I fooled him.

I just repeated every word he said out loud to God and everybody as he said it in my mind. I ain’t letting no little boy get the best of me and be able to terrorize me. No way! I may have been born at night but it wasn’t last night. His little games ain’t gonna work on this bartender.

The good news is I haven’t seen hide nor hair of the little upstart since. He best have taken the hint because reinforcements have been called in. I spoke to Kain who got in touch with Tal and Fire. They are supposed to be coming to town. I told Icer about them. I’m staying out of the whole thing as best I can from now on. I did send a letter to Tara and got one back a few days ago. Thank goodness!

Bad thing is Jean and I saw her in the Inn night before last and oh my goodness she really doesn’t like him at all!! I haven’t had a chance to talk with her about it yet and I’m not real sure I want to. She just flips out anytime they are in the same room together and I haven’t been watching close enough to know which one of them starts it! For all I know it could be mutual.

Although Jean did say when I was reading her letter to him that he hadn’t been aiming the pistol at her head he was only protecting the two of us from her poison marbles. I guess that would make it Tara not liking him and probably starting their confrontations. This is not a good thing. She had some kind of fruit in her hand and I guess was ready to hurl it at my Beloved French Pirate when I walked in the room. If I wasn’t so scared of her husband I’d for certain sure bean him in the head with an empty bottle just for sheer spite.

She just can’t be all the time attacking my Jean and thinking I’m gonna keep letting her do it and not go after her man right back. Maybe I should make out my Will in case that husband of hers can get past my mental shields like that impotent Slaver did. Nah, I have my TDMF to think about instead of worrying about getting back at anybody.

A more pleasant thing to think of I couldn’t think of but you ain’t no girlie thing!! What was I telling you about? Oh yes I haven’t seen Tass in days now, maybe even WEEKS!!!! I don’t know where the Dragon Baron is hiding but he hasn’t come around and the last two times he did no hug nor kiss from him. I’m really rather upset about it, I think, maybe, I don’t know yet for sure. I’ll just let you know later if I am or not.

I also got a letter from Jewell letting me know there isn’t a dress code at the Clubhouse. I’m very relieved to know that but I’m going to have to ask someone about tea parties. Maybe Lenika sometime when she isn’t busy. I won’t be asking Juleta. You’ll never guess what she told me the other night.

She informed me that one day someone is going to put a hole in my fiance’s head!! Oh yes it is very true she said that right to my face!! I couldn’t believe it!! Needless to say I informed her that I would shoot them first! Well I then had to know just who had the nerve to go and put a contract out on my Beloved. I was planning to have my boy toy eliminate them before they became a problem.

She told me no one has that he was going to get killed because he is a Pirate. If that isn’t just the silliest thing. Everyone lies, cheats, and steals in Rhydin. My man at least admits that he does up front. I’m so proud of him! I swear I love that man more every day and I surely didn’t think that would be possible!!

I gotta run now. You are still a scuzz ball and I still hate you with every breath I take but I will come and write in you again one day soon.
