American Idol Season Five

Okay, I know there are still a good bit of you out there who watch American Idol. Who are your favorite females? What about males? Who will make it to the top four? Who will win?

Well, I guess I will go ahead and state some of my opinions, but let me say some things first. This is the first time I've really paid all that much attention to American Idol, so I don't know much about the previous seasons, except for having seen a few of the final shows last season.
Also, my opinions are based solely on what I HEAR. I have no clue what most of the people look like, because I don't actually watch the show; I hear it on my miniature radio that has a TV band.

I believe there are only two of the females who are all that talented singers: Mandisa and Lisa. There are several males, however, who are very talented. I think Gideon is the most talented male and I believe he will probably win, or at least make it to the top four. Since Taylor is from Alabama, I'm pulling for him, of course. Without my locational biases, however, my favorite was the guy they just booted off: David, 'the crooner'. I thought he was really good, but some obviously disagree.

Lastly, I just wanted to end with this. A couple of weeks ago, Ace did the song Father Figure by George Michael. Not only do I think he should be shot for singing a George Michael song, I thought he sang it horribly... and all three judges LOVED it. ::shakes head:: Whatever.

So, just post some thoughts on this season's American Idol, and you haters ...don't hate too much.

Cause there's been too much hype about it. The people that win it really, in my opinion, aren't all that good anyway. Reality shows in general suck monkey. (I hate Survivor, too, and don't get me started on Real World or all those other craptastical stuff out there like Simple Life, etc.)

And a reality show for music just is a waste of time, if you ask me, because everyone that wins will do their thing and be forgotten fairly quick, just like most in the music industry.

Oy. the list goes on and on why I don't like that show in particular.
