This was a challenge that came and went in the blink of an eye!

Challenger Caleb Feren fought under the purple and black banner of Karma, and for her honor, too! As an extra honorary bonus, he also listed her as his Second!

Baron Mart Di’luna fought under a banner of black, bordered in silver. Emblazoned upon it is a silver Mallorn tree, sitting under a crescent moon of the same color. He listed no Second, but his Person of Honor was Morgan LaFey (in absentia).

The Baron chose a single match format, and our combatants were quick to get started. Mart scored first blood with some fancy footwork in round one, following up with a trade of cuts in the second that kept him in the lead. Challenger Feren showed his own dance moves in the third, tying the score up at two each. They both notched up a third point in the next round and by the fifth Caleb stole the lead with a well placed cut. Mart brought it back to SUDDEN DEATH in round six with a firm wall of defense. In the seventh and final round, however, Caleb’s own superior defense landed him the final point and victory.

The Barony of Old Temple’s custodianship changes hands tonight! Well tried on that defense, Mart! Congratulations, Caleb!

After the challenge, I received notice that the new Baron has chosen to align Renegade to the Overlord.
