Once more, a note was pinned to the board. Neekylah’s handwriting evident in the loops and swirls marked on the page.
Baron Olaf,
Once more I would like a chance to challenge you to the Barony of Dockside. I’m choosing to use my barony challenge grant that I earned in the last tournament. I enjoyed our last match so much I feel that another would be just as entertaining. I only ask, no cars this time let’s try to keep it even yeah?

Re: Challenge For Dockside
A message was stamped on the corkboard with a giant rubber stamp held by a Roomba with an egg beater attachment:
>:[
If a stamped frowny face could signal acceptance in its expression? This one did.

Re: Challenge For Dockside
I saw this challenge! Neekylah and Olaf met in the ring – with a hellhorse and a bridge or so! And a lot of pumpkins. It was very Halloween-themed. Olaf owes me a hair-washing. And some new leathers. Pumpkin stains.
Neekylah dueled under a banner of a blue and gold rose on a field of blue surrounded by a gold chevron border. Her second this evening was Morgan Chae. Finally, her person of honor was Octavia Terracon.
The Baron, Olaf, fought (his words, not mine, by the way…) under a white banner that displayed nothing but the words “NO EMBEZZLED CAMPAIGN FUNDS HERE” and his Second was Personal Integrity while he fought for the honor of Fiscal Responsibility.
I think he’s got some deeper problems than being challenged for the Barony, personally… but who am I to say?
The challenge did happen! It was a single match and he was on his horse the entire time! It was very much a see-saw affair as Neekylah got the point and then Olaf answered right back. After a first null round, she and then he scored for the next six! In the eighth round, he got to match point! She tied it in the ninth to make it SUDDEN DEATH but at the end of the day (and the end of the next round) Olaf had avoided her last hit so he keeps his Barony.
I’m not sure where he went after that. I think he got swallowed by something.
Olaf defends his Barony in a single duel, 5-4 in 10 rounds! Well won, Baron, and well tried, Neekylah!
