Challenge To Seaside: Gladiator Grant

Post by Amaris »

She stopped as she and Rachael were heading out to head over to the corkboard. Unzipping her backpack taking out the drawing she'd been working on before Rachael had gotten there, she pulled out a small throwing knife stabbing the drawing and challenge onto it and grinned. Hurrying to catch up with Rachael and heading over to her place to spend the night with the family, good plan to spend the night there, absolutely sure dad was gonna hit the ceiling at this point but she had it and why not.

The picture had been torn from the small throwing knife that had pinned it to the cork. The knife itself remained rooted in place with a tiny shred of the page stuck to it still. Beneath the untouched knife half of the picture had been pinned back in place with nothing more spectacular than a sewing needle. The paper had been ripped in half, jagged edges along the neck of the picture, the bunny's head missing entirely. Scrawled across the remaining lower half of the bunny and staining the paper with red "ink", letters dripping down the page before drying, was a single word:

Even though she didn't have a room anymore, Amaris still went to work out at the Arena jogging there of course. Her first stop was up to the corkboard blinking a few times "Hey! I worked hard on that fuckin bunny." She whined a little before taking down the paper and her knife leaving the needle to one side seeing the single word she grinned and thought taking out a paper to jot down a small note. Dragging out her phone she opened a portal and rushed through to get to the cave to find a carrier pigeon to send a note.

Note Sent:

~Mr. Cane sir can you call the duel for Seaside, please. On Friday the 17th at 8 pm on the eastern clock?
Thanks Amaris

Waiting a while for the bird she drew another picture this one taking a bit longer good thing she had a little more time before the bell when the bird returned a simple reply came back

~Yes. Cane~

She grinned and wrote a note portaled back to the arena posting back on the cork

Amaris v. Salvador for Seaside

Tonight we've got the little wolf challenging for the barony of Seaside! She fights under the banner of dark green and the golden emblem of a wolf. Her second is... Rachael Blackthorne, and there's a friggin' mile long list of other people she has to name as well like Roni, Maggie and Des and... Reiko and Mist and Benny.

And everyone knows Sal doesn't do any of that, so let's get on with this one-shot fight for the glory!

Ring Rogues 1: No action this round. (HC / HC | 0 - 0, Amaris and Delahada.)
Ring Rogues 2: No action this round. (CP / FCP | 0 - 0, Amaris and Delahada.)
Ring Rogues 3: Delahada scores! (LC / TH | 0 - 1, Delahada leads.)
Ring Rogues 4: Amaris scores! (TH / LC | 1 - 1, Amaris and Delahada.)
Ring Rogues 5: Delahada scores! (SH / HC | 1 - 2, Delahada leads.)
Ring Rogues 6: Delahada scores! (SL / LC | 1 - 3, Delahada leads.)
Ring Rogues 7: Delahada scores! (TH / FSS | 1 - 4, Delahada leads.)
Ring Rogues 8: Delahada scores! (FCP / HC | 1 - 5, Delahada leads.)
FINAL: Delahada def. Amaris, 5 - 1 in 8 rounds. - dos

The Baron of Seaside successfully defends in one duel against the challenger. Well fought!
