Long overdue, here are the results from the King of the Ring match! Some of you may have missed out on it. Wait, what were you thinking not showing up to this? You missed out on a great show! You are lucky that I want to tell you about it.
The duelists were no other than Vinny, Michiko, Guilermus, Tsu Nami, Teagan, Maranya, and Querylon! Just looking at the line-up you could already tell that this event should have been called Ruler of the ring or some other less gender specific title. Not that it mattered; everyone fought well and gave a great show!
In the first round, it certainly looked like everyone was ganging up on then Baron Guil! Vinny traded cuts with Guil, Tsu and Querylon both decided to go after Guil in his moment of distraction. Not everyone made the run at Guil though, Michiko trying to lunge into Vinny while he was distracted, but he got the trap set up just in the nick of time to stop that, but not in time for Anya’s thrust! Just outside of this little group, Teagan managed to get Querylon’s attention and draw the thrust from her, only to disengage to show her up. Teagan decided to try to stay out of things, but Guil managed to get her on a high swing.
The next round seemed no different than the first, with most everyone focusing on poor Guil! Michiko tried to slice him up, but Guil managed to pin her down with a quick thrust, which he immediately followed up by parrying away Vinny’s thrust. Vinny opened himself up to Tsu’s quick cut to the legs when he lunged forward, making that idea doubly bad. Querylon and Anya both decided to go after Guil. No one thought to go after Anya, but Vinny tried to slash up Querylon, which she easily stepped aside of.
The third round we witnessed almost a perfect chain of attacks as the action circled the ring. It didn’t seem that way at first when Guil stepped around Michiko’s brace for no effect. But the moment Tsu moved the ball started to roll. Teagan’s parry against Tsu’s thrust turned into a cut to match Anya’s. Anya turned to thrust at Querylon, who parried and turned to clash blades with Guil. Vinny broke the chain slightly by taking the opening on Guil, and then he turned to expertly defend himself against Michiko’s thrust.
Once again we see an unspoken agreement to take down the Baron. Tsu slashed into Guil’s trap, taking a major blow, but opening Guil up to the next attacks. Querylon took advantage of the distraction to lunge in and tag Guil, followed by Michiko’s cut up high. Vinny tried to score a hit on Anya, but she parried the low attack away successfully. Guil, once he managed to recover, did slip a hit around Vinny’s brace. Things started to look really bad for Guil at this point, if someone blow on him to hard it looked like he would be thrown out of the ring.
Teagan and Anya both decided that Querylon was just in too good a position. Teagan pulled a decoy as she sidestepped Querylon’s defense, and Anya jumped in with a slash! Shaken by that, she completely missed Vinny as he ducked under her cut. Vinny and Guil traded thrusts, and somehow Guil found the strength to hold on and parry away Michiko’s following thrust! During the big Guil-Querylon beat down, Tsu snuck in to trip up Teagan.
Guil, as tired as he must be at this point, just braced himself, it didn’t look that he could do much more tonight. Anya lunged at Vinny to trade thrusts to open the round. Querylon decided to thrust too, right as Guil worked up the energy to attack her. That thrust was enough to start him on his way out with Michiko and Tsu landing hits to ensure the Baron’s forced exit! Querylon then tried to follow up with a cut to Vinny, but was turned away by his defense. Teagan braced and Anya parried, starting up a staring contest mid-brawl!
Querylon decided against going after Vinny, him being on the ropes already, and opted for Anya, who was currently in the best shape. That plan didn’t go well when Anya pinned Querylon with a thrust! Vinny even helped out by tagging Querylon’s shins when she tried to brace against any other attacks. Michiko distracted Vinny, trying to set him up for a fall, but Tsu going for the legs wouldn’t be enough. Teagan, instead of finishing off Vinny due to her staring contest, could only reach out far enough to bop Tsu on the head for not getting the job done. And yes, Anya and Teagan continued the staring contest this round.
Everyone decided at once on the same thing. Vinny must die. Or at least, leave the ring, now. Vinny ducked to try and avoid any attacks, only to have Querylon go in with a thrust to push him out. Even though he was well on his way out, Michiko lunged in, Tsu did a little dance to get a good shot in, and Anya even tripped him up. All to make sure Vinny was out. Teagan on the other hand, brained Anya for dropping out of the staring contest. While it isn’t official, Teagan won the staring contest.
With Vinny out, it just seems natural to pick on the next one in bad shape, right? Well, everyone here thought so. Michiko tried to go for Querylon, but got hit with the defensive thrust. When Querylon tried to make an attack on Anya, she was put on the receiving end of a thrust herself! Tsu then got a hit in on Querylon, and Teagan just couldn’t find enough space to get one in on her.
Tsu tried to step away from Anya, but she just managed to trip him in her attempt to get Querylon, her next attack caught another sidestep, this time from her target Querylon. Querylon wasn’t giving up though, and managed to trap Michiko’s thrust! Off to the side, for some reason it appeared that Teagan wanted to start another staring contest, but Anya was just too busy to notice!
Without a staring contest to engage in, Teagan stepped around Michiko for a better position. Anya went in to try and take out Querylon, but only traded. Querylon barely held on, and somehow managed the best defense seen in the match so far against Michiko, even reaching out for a counter! It wasn’t enough though, and Tsu stepped in for a slash to knock her out over the ropes!
With Querylon out, Anya and Michiko turned on each other! Anya managed to get under Michiko’s parry for a solid hit, but couldn’t keep Tsu from gaining position on her. Teagan went for Tsu, but he managed to keep her attack away with one of his own!
Michiko returned the favor to Anya by going over her brace before turning to trade thrusts with Tsu and holding on. Teagan stayed on Tsu, but could only meet his next attack as he held her off.
Tsu wound up and let loose another killer slash on Michiko to send her out with a little help from Anya. As Michiko flies out, she managed to knick Anya’s leg. Tsu managed to keep Teagan from gaining position on him by matching her steps.
Considering the last few rounds, this round really made it look like Teagan moved on from staring contests to do a dance-off mid fight. Tsu and Teagan both matched parries, and Teagan threw in a slide to the right to avoid the thrust from Anya!
Tsu dropped low to force Anya’s whiff, but then lunged right into Teagan’s trap!
Getting their act together, Tsu and Anya both teamed up against Teagan! Tsu caught Teagan as she dropped, but it didn’t keep her from rolling away from Anya’s slash!
Next Round was nothing but parries!
Anya lunged right into Teagan’s defense, and Teagan shifted right into the offense to cut over Tsu’s brace!
This round was Tsu’s turn to thrust into Teagan’s defense, and Teagan again shifted to offense quickly to not only thrust under Anya’s cut, but force her out of the ring!
Tsu had tried to concede defeat to Teagan, stating that he could not overcome her this late in the match. The crowd wasn’t going to let it happen, and with a bit of encouragement, which could also be called badgering, Tsu made a last ditch slash! Teagan was ready for it and showed quite a bit of strength and finesse as she dropped to take Tsu’s feet out from under him. She then popped up to push him over the ropes before he had a chance to fall!
After twenty-one rounds of non-stop fighting, Teagan rose to victory as being the last person in the ring. As such, Teagan has become Queen of the Ring!

Scoring went from zero up. Once a duelist was at eight or more damage, they could be ejected from the ring with a power attack or ANY Fancy move. Power attacks are High Cut, Thrust, Slash, and Stop Hit. All duelists were limited to one Fancy for the entire match. The exception was that any duelist that was credited with two KO’s would receive one extra Fancy.
Scoring here will show the name of the duelist, then his/her target, followed by their two moves, their damage, remaining fancies, and finally, KO’s earned. The duelists will be in order of initiative.
