Overlord Grant Challenge
I, Anjolie Cynthia Havoick, have hereby sent notice to the Overlord, the administration of the Duel of Swords, and to the War Drac Baron of Old Market District.
By virtue of the Overlord's Grant I hereby challenge the War Drac Baron.
I have chosen this Baron due to his status of Renegade against the Overlord and because of my feelings towards his involvement with his district. The Overlord did not choose this target, but he has given his blessing for the challenge to proceed.
The Baron's response will be posted as soon as I hear word.

The WarDrac has answered this challenge.
The WarDrac is also very annoyed and angered at the Overlord now too.
When this challenge is done, the Overlord can expect a challenge from the WarDrac.
The Overlord has made certain statements and certain assumptions about the WarDrac without even speaking or consulting with the WarDrac about their potential relationship in the rings as title holders. The WarDrac had stated that he would not interfere with the current Overlord's reign considering his involvement with the current Overlord's achievement to title. But since the Overlord has actively tried to interfere with the WarDrac's title reign now for a second time and seems to actively want to see the WarDrac removed from title, those statements are no longer valid.
A lackey like Artemus sent to try for the WarDrac's title was amusing, but for the Overlord to send his own low ranked wife is nothing but pure insult to the history of the WarDrac's tenure in these hallowed halls. The RhyDin Extremist Duelers coalition will also target and remove from title any of those title holders who consider themselves allied with the Overlord against the WarDrac and his desire to remove the WarDrac from title. Being Loyal to the Overlord does not make one a target, actively rooting against the WarDrac in this challenge by a pawn of the Overlord will make one a target though.
The only thing that will save the reign of the current Overlord would be to send his wife elsewhere with her grant.
This match will take place on Wednesday Ocetober 25th at 10:00pm EST. This date is non-negotiable, and the pain miss Quinn will have unleashed upon her by the WarDrac should be enough humiliation to make the Overlord resign in disgrace.
The WarDrac was so angered he could not even settle down enough to write a proper reply himself so ask me to convey the words shared by all of the RED coalition.

To the Baron Baphelocutis:
Lash out with anger where you may. Contrary to what you may believe, my husband gave me the Overlord's Grant trusting that I was competent enough to pick out my own target. He knew full well that this might result in a challenge against him. I have been given two Overlord Grants so far in my lifetime and neither of the 'supreme duelists' chose my targets for me.
As for me being the Overlord's low-ranked wife; I have obtained the status of Warlord no matter how thin the line might be between that rank and the one below it. I should also like to point out that the Overlord's "lackey" and I have identical stats. He came awfully close to beating you, didn't he?
My intentions are my own. I have great respect for many of the Barons, but I cannot accept someone who has hardly any interaction with their district. This is what I have seen during my time spent in Old Market. I apologize if you think me an "unworthy opponent" or that I'm being "disrespectful" of your lengthy dueling career. This, Baron, is about politics. My politics and not necessarily those of my husband.
As for your non-negotiable date... I will consider it.
Sincerely,
Anjolie Cynthia Havoick

To the patrons of the Arena:
The Baron of Old Market and I are still attempting to nail down a time. We have been granted an extension in order to secure a date for our challenge. As soon as the agreement has been reached we will notify the public post haste. Thank you for your patience.

Baron Baphelocutious, Title Holders, Patrons and Staff of the Duel of Swords.
Having been informed of the recent events occuring in the Arena, and having been further informed of the glaring error upon the Standings regarding her status; the Baroness of Seaside, Lady Karen Wilder, wishes these facts to be known:
Firstly: Upon defeating the challenger Vanion, the Baroness petitioned the Overlord for the status of Loyal. The Overlord did in fact accept her petition and grant her that status that very night.
Secondly: The Baroness, due to the long convalescence forced upon her by the treacherous use of poison during that challenge match, was unaware that the Standings did not reflect her change in status. She hopes that this will soon be rectified.
Thirdly: Despite any injury or infirmity the Baroness might have, she takes her oath of Loyalty very seriously. Should the current Overlord come under Challenge by anyone not excersizing a Tournament prize that would prevent her, she will offer her services to Test and Defeat that challenger.

To the Public:
After some lengthy dealings between the Baron and myself we have reached an agreement on the date and time of our challenge.
The Challenge between the War Drac Baron Baphelocutis and Anjolie Cynthia Havoick is to take place on the 30th of October, a Monday, and will commence at 10 RST.
Any official wishing to lend us their services would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you there.

You will forgive the Baroness for this oversight, as she was not in any condition to notify anyone of anything for quite some time after the incident.DUEL Chris Graz wrote:In the future, changes in alignment need to be made directly to the standings keeper. Do not assume that a change in alignment occuring after a challenge, or posted to the board, reaches the office of the standings keeper in a timely fashion.
