Since I didn't get to fight Runt in a challenge match tonight (congrats, Mal!), I still have a challenge grant to use before the end of this week. since this the last week of the current cycle.

I have nothing but respect for Gren, and it is with that respect that, if I am still able to do so, I challenge for IceDancer.

Since he was unable to participate in the PathFinder challenge queue due to Mallory's victory over Runt, Eregor's grant was returned to him and is valid for use here.

As Gren is not currently within a grace period, this challenge is valid and may proceed.

This one was a rather quick set of matches, but fun to watch nonetheless! Eregor and Gren both came out swinging and put on an expanded show of their skills with FIVE rounds of sudden death in the first. However, Gren retains in two, both matches 5-4!

A very quick match, opening with offense after offense trading back and forth and taking advantage of openings left and right. It wasn't even the 6th round when six total points were scored. Gren gets to Match Point first, looking to close however Eregor is no slouch and brings it to SUDDEN DEATH still very early in the bout. A quick show of display gives a brief respite after a blur of action, which only continued into the 10th as they played a game of keep-away between themselves! It took five whole rounds of SUDDEN DEATH before Gren found his opening, to score and take the first!

Water Opal meets Water Keeper inside of the Pool, opening up quickly with some mischieve from the opal holder, and a quick spray to the face to get away from the strike of the Challenger. Eregor is not without his own inside of his natural environment! Quick to strike out to tie it up early. Gren edges out by narrowly avoiding a water rocket of an Eregor, and then maintains the lead through a quick trade of blows into the fourth! Back and forth trades bring us to Matchpoint in the wielders way, only to again be brought to SUDDEN DEATH. Unlike the first, Gren is quick to utilize IceDancer and freezes out Eregor in the seventh to retain in two very close matches!
