Diamond Quest CI Announced!

On Saturday, April 18th starting at 8pm by the Eastern Clock, the 101st Diamond Quest will get underway!

Reconstruction of the Outback remains in progress but significant updates and upgrades will be finished by that date. We encourage everyone to attend and explore the latest changes, especially upstairs!

Too, the DoF Staff believes that we’ve found a way to make the opals whole again, but we need your help to do it. The more people in attendance, the higher chance for success. If you are in contact with any current and past Opal holders, their friends, their families, and anyone else who’ve directly interacted with or been affected by the Opals over the years, we believe their presence will be critical on the night of the 18th.

Dear Friends of Duel of Fists,

We hope that you are able to attend Diamond Quest 101 on Saturday, April 18th as either a spectator or a participant.

As mentioned at the press conference on Saturday, the Duel of Fists team will be reuniting the physical forms of the Opals and reunifying the essences with their physical forms.

In order to ensure success and prevent any future mishaps with the Opals, we need your help! Please bring something you love with you to the Outback on Saturday. This is not limited to physical objects.

In honor of the reunification of the Opals, there are Opal themed drinks and shots available at the bar.

The Empress also created a drinking game for the occasion! Every time an Opal shard appears at the end of a fight, everyone does a shot of that Opal-themed drink to celebrate. Huzzah!

Food
There are tables of small bites food because the Opals are currently just “small bites” right now too!

Prizes
Last fighter standing will be crowned Diamond CI and given a shiny (non-tampered with) new diamond as their prize.

Second to last fighter standing will receive free drinks for the cycle!

All participants and attendees will be given a copy of the newly released History of DoF Top Title Holders: 100 Shining Diamonds signed by Matt Simon, who wrote the forward.

((The Duel of Fists Staff would like to encourage everyone (fighters and spectators) to attend Diamond Quest 101 tonight and stay through the end for some non-dueling fun.

For those interested in taking part in a magic ritual, have your character bring something they love with them.

For those who have characters strongly opposed to reforming the Opals, we ask that you take part, even violently if you’d like! After the Opal shards have been reformed into physical, empty Opals once more, we are welcoming disruptions to the ritual to bring the Opal essences back into their forms. Matt and Jewell are even open to their characters being physically attacked/harmed to disrupt the ritual (you’ll have to check OOC with other players if they feel the same).

We want this to be fun and engage as much of the community as possible, so come out and enjoy!
