Hello, lovelies! Put on your best party dress and get ready to CELEBRATE! Jubilation is the name of the game this Fashion Week and we expect to see you all there with your dance shoes on.

Midnight Forest: A Fête of Night's Creatures
8 PM - The Solarium, Old Temple (Discord The Solarium)
The Solarium has been transformed for the premier event on the Governor's social calendar; where ordered sections usually stood, the entire space has become strategically overgrown to resemble the forests of the Wilds just outside the City set in an eternal night. Fairy lights (but not real faeries) strung from branch to branch overhead to allow for soft, sweet illumination. Magical and mundane creatures abound - fawns mingled with dragons great and small and impossibly large tigers - as the Governor celebrated the diversity in Rhydin beyond simple humanoids through her chosen theme. Come dance, love, and dare, as those mythical monsters!

Fashion Week 2021 Charity Kickoff: Jubilation
9 PM - Pier 7, Dockside (Discord Streets of RhyDin)
All Proceeds Benefit the Sanyumato Relief Fund, the Small Business Relief Fund in celebration of Jewell Ravenlock and the RhyDin Welcome Center.

Tonight’s revelers were in for a treat, provided in large part by the wizardry and engineering genius of MagiTech™ (available now for all your event planning needs!).

Upon arriving to Pier 7, guests would be boarded onto sailing yachts with massive sails seemingly made from giant petunia petals. The crew aboard each ship were not shy about showing off their shapeshifting abilities, making sure to inform guests that they were about to embark on an adventure filled with wondrous illusions once they passed through the Painted Portal. The ride itself was no more than ten minutes.



Depending on how observant a guest wanted to be, there were a few visible seams to MagiTech’s™ handiwork at the moment the ships passed through the “portal” and entered a space where the RhyDinian coastline could no longer be seen. Technicolor sea-like creatures floated through the air around the ships (but always staying just out of reach from the guests and crew), playing a subtle welcoming song with no clear beginning or end.



The surrounding landscape continued to shift, bringing together a surreal amalgamation of icy mountains, tropical surf, serene meadows, deserts and more. Upon embarking onto steady ground, guests would find several sceneries available to them without requiring more than a few minutes of walking to experience something entirely contradictory and new.







Following a path of wildflowers leading to an incongruous warehouse, guests would easily discover the paint-splattered woman who would introduce herself simply as The Artist. While it was occasionally possible to stump her, The Artist proved most capable of painting out of apparent thin air any requested items that did not require personal knowledge of a specific individual. This included an ability to conjure edible food and drink for those brave enough to try it.





DJ Shifter Talk was set up to play the most upbeat hits from what appeared to be a large cumulus cloud that lit up with colorful lightning streaks in time with the music. The cloud platform oversaw the focal point of the runway show, a bridge designed to appear as a pair of high heels.



Seats came in all shapes and sizes tonight with waiters serving appetizers and drinks for those less interested in The Artist’s designs (including Red Orc Brewery's Drop Dead Red!). Those wanting a closer view of the runway could even drag the oversized leaves along either side of the runway into the water surrounding the heels.

Boats would be available to take guests home at their leisure. The return trip would prove even quicker, leading to the conclusion that whatever had been constructed for the night’s event was never far from Pier 7 all along.

Fashion Week was one of Elessaria's favorite events in RhyDin. With over a decade of walking the runway under her high heels, her excitement never waned. Familiar faces like pro Cai, veterans like Saila and new models like the expectant Mallory always made for an inimitable show which was a preview of the talent to enjoy all week.

For Friday night's Kick Off Koy selected the following gown for The Empath for her turn down the runway:


Eless spent most of the week sitting front row at various shows, enjoying the variety of exhibits, unofficially modeling designers' outfits, supporting her friends and of course, networking.

On Monday, the petite elfess attended both Kitchy Kando and then Brix in Babel:


On Tuesday, Muziak & Co, was followed by Highlife Haberdashery in support of her friend Locke:


Eless had an early start on Wednesday since she sponsored the annual Rise & Shine workshop at the Heavenly Boutique, after which she attended The Remington Collection:

Neese was on Eless' schedule for Friday after dropping off a rather large load (okay, a few loads) of donated clothing at Designer Duds charity:


Later that night would be The Governor's Ball.**

By Saturday, The Empath was running on adrenaline and sugar. She popped by Uda Boss briefly, as well as the Battle of the Bands before she ended her long, fun-filled week celebrating at the Wrap Up party:

Shepherding several of her students on a field trip, Maggie attended the Giggles and Glee: Workshop for Children. There were questions from them about her theater experiences as she took part in helping them pick props for the comedy routines.

Later in the week, she took in the Wedding Expo with some friends preparing for their school proms. After trying on several formal gowns, she found some things that suited her ever lengthening legs and changing body shape.
