On the south edge of Cosmos Keep lies the sprawling House Ollavan. From the outside, it blends easily with the rest of the medieval gothic style castle, but from the inside, the charm of a temperate oasis awaits those who call House Ollavan home. Styled much like a Mediterranean villa, students are welcomed to an open air common area. There appears to be no ceiling and thanks to Twilight Isle’s consistent weather, it never rains on the commons either. Just the same, protective spellwork prevents entrance by that path, even by students of the house. A grinning portrait of Mur Ollavan watches over students in the commons and comfortable chaise lounges and low tables are often home to students playing tabletop games or munching on an abundance of snacks beneath his amused watch.
Which isn’t to say that House Ollavan is all play and no work. Study alcoves carved into the stone walls afford students with a comfortable place to work on schoolwork as well. An open-plan dining room and kitchen make it easy to come and go as you please between classes. The far side of the common area slopes down into a courtyard, at the center of which is a rectangular pool, great for swimming laps. A fountain on one corner spouts streams of water into the pool and is a target for pranksters who seem to get a kick out of pouring dish soap into it to fill the pool with bubbles. From there, dormitories flank either side of the commons, broken into pods by age and gender and inaccessible to all but those living there.
