The influence of Beltane has changed the Isle this May Eve, bringing lush grass, bright flowers, and bubbling springs to the rich volcanic soil of the rings. Rune-marked standing stones have erupted from the earth, providing a good vantage point to those in the rings, while cherry trees bursting with blossoms sway in the wind and scatter clouds of petals across the area, capable of obscuring targets at critical moments.
But duelists should watch their step. Plumes of faerie fire hide among the flowers, illuminating unlucky combatants -- or giving a strategic edge to those wily enough to bend it to their will...
The Isle's serving goblins are ferrying platters laden with fresh fruit and spit-roasted boar and flagons of fae wine, a bounty worthy of the spirit of Beltane. Though not all the goblins are as they seem -- trickster nilbogs carouse among them, and may cause unwary patrons to part with their coin or drinks...
