I would like to say a heartfelt "Thank you" to all of the long absent players that came out for Fight Night. It was wonderful and I hope it happens more often! :) Speaking for myself, and every other old-timer I've heard from, thank YOU. We all had a blast, and it's wonderful to "com...

::blinks in surprise at Xeno:: Really? That seems so... violent... LOL. I'm not sure how the SimStep came to be... I think one of the callers just started using it one night when Simini successfully sidestepped more than once, and it stuck. :) It's just a sidestep. Once in a while, I might say she's...

Thank you to the true Overlord and Baron for providing a tournament for those of us without rank or title. I would like to offer a proposal for consideration on an individual basis. I would like to see the upper ranks attempt a return to the basics of dueling, and challenge themselves to meet every...

::winks a hello to Rand::

As an addendum... the kudos is for the entire RDI/dueling community, not just DoS. I've peeked around most of the RP areas, and while in the RDI I swear I had the urge to slide a mug down the bar!

An amused smile tugged at her lips as she read the announcement. "Funny that G'nort failed to mention he was the Baron from whom Xeno had wrested his latest title," she thought. "Funny, but not surprising... some things never change." Never change, indeed. The fact that the Darel...

A Heartfelt Thanks

I popped in last night for the first time in... well... a while. :) I just had to take a moment today to say THANK YOU to those of you that are putting your time into the Rings of Honor. As someone who was involved with DoS even as Q-Link transitioned to AOL... then stepped back and watched from afa...

First, a clarification: When I said "I asked this question, and I still don't have an answer" I meant that I didn't have an answer from myself , not that the answers that were given didn't count, or something. ;) Sorry about that, didn't realize the other way to interpret that until I rere...

1) Hmmm... I thought $2.95 an hour was the lower price, going down to that in early '95-ish from... was it $5.95 per hour? That's what I recall anyway. And no, a $1k bill for a month - while high, don't get me wrong! - wasn't... all... THAT... unusual... errrr... was it? ::looking around, half guilt...

I posted this question, and I still don't have an answer. I liked Skyler's answer of betting everything on one roulette spin... but that's just not me. I also like the idea of doing something positive for the world... but I'm doing what I can in that area anyway... fear isn't stopping me. Perhaps so...
