This separation seems symbolic to me, which is fine. We live in an age where we are all instantly connected via numerous tools, if all we do is try. A player reached out to me on Facebook to alert me to this thread and situation -- they could have done so on Twitter or Discord or email or any other ...

I definitely believe that Team and Event-centric dueling is more sustainable in the modern era of the internet and the community here. I'm not active right now because -- life -- but I like this idea. I'd do it when able.

Last year's Madness Tournament winner and top seed Ellisa Morgan is set to face a perennial fighter, and one of the few remaining active members of the famed dueling team The Wrecking Crew, in Kheldar Drasinia . Two lega...

In a mighty round of 32, we saw many surprise victories in the Valmion Division! Kalamere , a heavy favorite to win the division, was defeated by Sylus Kurgen this past Sunday. It should surprise few to see Anubis Karos and Kheldar Drasinia advance, even if they were considered underdogs in their ma...

Below, I will track the progress of our bracket and share the scheduled times of matches that will occur. As is part of the good natured traditio...

Be wary of making arbitrary decisions just for the sake of making decisions. A lot of voices get thrown into the mix, a lot of ideas get tossed around. In the confusion and chaos, you making a hasty decision that appeases nobody but that you believe is some sort of amalgamation of various ideas can ...

Thank you for sharing how you feel. I think that the results of this poll are extremely significant, and I think that they are influencing the way people talk about rule changes. As I've mentioned in other threads, better rules to increase engagement is one thing ... but first and foremost, we have ...

Perhaps the solution isn't in decreasing the incentive for Warlords to fight lower ranks, but in decreasing the penalty to lower ranks who lose to Warlords (and increasing the boon for lower ranks who beat Warlords)?

Rakeesh's Squire tournament is also a good idea, but if we look at it on the other hand. Who are choosing the squires? The barons. Are they hosting a tournament with active players, or giving it to their friends who may not be as active? The advantage of the House/team idea is that if a Baron is ma...

There's often a lack of interest in hardcore RP This isn't what I selected in the poll, because it wasn't an option. It's definitely a contributing factor for me. Over time especially, the tone of common roleplay and storylines has changed, and the sort of roleplay/writing that I prefer to do has b...

@Kalamere -- yeah, your interface is far more efficient than my suggestion. Looks great! I definitely think that there should be a timer on declarations to avoid shadiness. Probably a week, yeah? And your suggestion about keeping "theme night" to Thursday makes sense to not butt into Fight...

I agree with not permitting experienced players entrance into a low-rank tourney on alts being difficult to justify. That doesn't mean we can't encourage those players not to enter ... that's easy. And I think that it'd probably be enough.
