Chestnut curled tresses spill over shoulders, playing in the light breeze over her neck and cheek. She rides her mare, Lily, to the horizon. Her russet eyes watching over her peaceful farmland as the sun sets. Usually wearing a full skirt, today a sage one, white blouse, and black riding boots.

MaKenna had never been one for trouble until *he* showed up. Her father's 2nd cousin on her grandmother's side, the only kin she had left, and didn't claim him. He'd come to take what was rightfully hers, Dancing Fields. That was the name of the plantation her father had left her, the fields of wheat danced in the summer's breeze. Now she was determined to run him out of her home and out of her life, forever. She just needed to find someone to help her with a scare tactic.
