Death was only the beginning.

Betrayed by those he trusted above any other, in death his only thought was how to carry his need for vengeance beyond the grave.

He never would have imagined that someone might be listening, and when he found out, he didn't even ask what the price was. He didn't care. No price would have been too high.

After his revenge was carried out in the manner that only a truly, terrifyingly cold-blooded killer could achieve, he found out just what that price was.

And he still didn't care.

"Let me be your instrument. None will survive my wrath."

These were the words he spoke to the being tasked with training the Dark Hunters among us, and it is a vow he has kept with a fury that only a God among immortals could truly appreciate.

Do not make the mistake of thinking that this is the man to piss off. True, he carries the look of age, the grizzled countenance of time's endless flow upon his features.

But that is immaterial.

Because the last thought you have when your life is snuffed out is that age really is just a number, and your number just came up.

Give him a weapon. Don't give him a weapon. It doesn't matter - your life won't last so much as a second longer either way if you're the object of his fury. The only good thing is that his targets are the darker beings of the world, the things that go bump in the night. Pray you are not among them.
