Appearance:

Her voice holds the reminiscence of bells, as if dwarves had mastered the art of guilding Lily of the Valley blossoms into ornaments that mimicked man's metal chimes. She speaks in half riddles and poetry, as if she were a muse, and echoes herself in the third person.

Usually seen out and about in her most minute form of five inches, Shang is a very happy and guileless moon fae. Wearing nothing but the skin she was born in, she flits around on wings that shine like abalone shell from village, through forest, to hill and over dale.

Long milk-white hair tumbles down to curl just below the pert peach shape of her bare bottom, and it serves as the only bit of cover she has. Her eyes are a silvery amethyst, and her skin is very fair. The joints of her body such as her knees, elbows, shoulders, as well as her cheeks, are dusted with the most curiously colored freckles.

A sweet mischief maker and good natured pest at heart, her demeanor is warm and often times childish. This willful fae's favorite pastime is to hover about people and strangers she finds most interesting. She's most often seen hiding behind objects large enough to conceal her tiny form, or in building's rafters when she is not interacting with others.

Should one catch this small, winged lady in a particularly demure and docile mood, it has not been unheard of for her to perch on an unsuspecting traveler's head and lounge. Her mentality at times is also very accommodating or even pet like.

Shang has made many a friend and mentor, but none as great as the Ice Mage Celeth and a Master Mage named Aatma. She is a living spark of power they both know and respond to when in distress without mercy. To siphon or harm the fairy in any manner is to risk a wrath beyond reckoning, but more importantly... Above all else, one risks the guileless lovely's trust and friendship.

Skills:

Born a creature of talents and boundless power that suite her quirky personality, Shang has the ability to shift her size and her skin. When she moves about in crowded spaces with the intent of remaining unseen, she blends into her surroundings very much like a chameleon, though to the degree of sheer invisibility. If she should be startled or in danger, behind the blink of an eye she'll shoot to the height of a towering tree. Though at times an inconvenient defense mechanism, she's learned to control it and use this ability to her trickery's advantage.

Though she loves to joke and the occasional torture at someone's expense, she is a gentle-hearted little thing. When in need this tiny fae will help or comfort the best she can, even going as far as to acquire a temporary traveling companion. Shang's greatest joy is helping others.

Being a Sidhe Demi-Fae has given her a wonderful tolerance to mortal alcohol, and her favorite beverage by far is a warm tankard of Mead. Very much like a humming bird can be coaxed with sugar water, Shang can be easiliy lured with the warm, heady promise of a Mead Tankard. It is by far the easiest way to lure the at times finicky fairy from her hiding places.
