Used to be 36, but thanks to the Nexus, is now 26 years old. (Well, to be fair, he was de-aged to 25, but he's had a birthday since then.)

So far as combat goes...

He is useless with weaponry. Really. Keep all but the simplest of phasers out of his hands. It will only end badly if you don't. Though, he does seem to do okay with pugil sticks.

He is passingly fair at hand-to-hand combat, though he relies heavily on Starfleet's basic combatives training. Tends to favour offensive moves and going on the attack rather than sitting back and protecting himself. Fights left-handed, so strikes are most likely aimed at his opponent's right side. Also, very rarely will he hit hard enough to cause any injury beyond bruising. He really has to dislike someone to want to hurt them.

As far as magic goes, he exclusively uses fire, light, lightning, and similar. He does not do mental attacks. He CANNOT use other elements. Which means no rocks, no noxious fumes, no ice, no illusions, none of that. His magic is highly based on movement and the transfer of energy, meaning that with each spell? He moves, generally in some sort of attack such as a punch or a kick. Spins also occur. He tires quickly from use of magic and generally cannot do more than two or three duels in a night before he is completely drained. The fact that he has to actually move to use magic instead of saying words or waving his hand does not help this any. As to how he teleports if he cannot use anything but fire? Um, he was in Starfleet. He has a transporter. (He built it himself.) Though, it is heavily affected by the wards, so he really can't control where he ends up.
