Currently? RhyDin... again... after a long absence and much traveling.

Profession:

Wandering minstrel? Yeah... I wouldn't believe it either...look, I'm a really nice guy! ::rubs the back of his head:: Honest! I guess you could call me a sort of problem solver.

Appearance:

A fairly young-looking man, not yet out of his twenties, stood before you. He was neither overly tall, nor too short - in his estimations at least - standing at roughly six feet. As far as complexion went, his skin was a healthy light white with jet black features in stark contrast. A natural red highlight was the only accent to the pitch-colored hair, and was only noticeable under a large amount of natural light. The dark black orbs that stared into yours had little distinction between iris and pupil... so it was almost like staring into a void. Or perhaps his very soul? A comforting divergence from his eyes was his smile, which some might refer to as a smirk - and yet others would refer to as a fodder-eating grin - which spoke of playfulness, friendliness and a sense of adventure.

His youthful, muscular build from years prior had finally been offset by ale and an overabundance of peace for a year or so in his otherwise chaotic life, leading to a few pounds to be put on around his mid-section. Nothing too bad, mind you, but it was doubtful he was going to be doing backflips off of counter tops any time soon...

... Willingly, at least...

His outfit was mostly black, consisting of black, baggy pants overlapping a pair of black leather boots that reached up to his mid-shin. The pants were held up by a black belt with an ornate polished steel buckle shaped like an abstract musical note. Tucked into his pants was a pitch-colored long-sleeve turtleneck, and over all of that was a heavy black trenchcoat. On the back of the coat was a white diamond emblem that bore the initials SoS (with the second S backwards) in bright red. It was difficult to tell where the man was from... and it was easy to assume that was the reaction he was aiming for.

In his right hand was perhaps his most striking feature - a 4 foot x 1 1/2 foot x 1 foot saxophone case. Black, Leather-bound and full of soul, Cassiopeia, Lei's alto saxophone, sat in a custom made box, forged from what was once a baritone sax case. On the corners of the massive object were metal covers and dead center was a symbol that matched the back of his cloak. What is contained within the case, as of yet, continues to be a mystery.

One thing that is most certainly inside the case, however is Cassiopeia. The beautiful black nickel horn is the envy of any collector of beautiful relics and the man that forged it is assumed to be a great master-crafter. The etching on the bell of the horn depicts a starry night sky wholly unlike the night sky of RhyDin, with a beautiful queen carved around a specific constellation. The finger pads are made of onyx instead of the faux pearl pads that would appear on most sax models.

Skills:

As far as actual talent goes, Lei, first and foremost, is a musician. He is extraordinarily gifted with his horn. If it was played on a saxophone, he probably knows it.

When the music thing isn't going well, he has also been known to read fortunes with one of his many decks of cards.

On the subject of combat, he is rumored to be quite the marksman... particularly with thrown objects. He's also been known to beat the stuffing out of people with his instrument case, which is said to be far heavier than it looks and made out of something sturdier than simply the leather that binds it.
