From the Nothing between here and there..or elsewhere, she slithered and slinked and stretched herself into existence. Slender limbs and pale white flesh stretched taut over tired bones. She was pieces of pretty things all stitched up into something as close to human as something less than human could get. Sweet smiles were well practiced, the Darkness did always tell her you catch more flies with honey, or some such nonsense like that.

Flies, bees, pretty butterflies whose wings she liked the clip off just so she could put them in her hair and twirl around like the prettiest princess.

Those poor butterflies.

Ila Chase wasn't all there in the sense that maybe, some where along the way, a few too many marbles fell out of her head. That mattered little to her and the shadows she called friends, always dancing and tickling at heels, eager for violence and starving for fear. Hers or theirs or yours, they'd eat it right up and come back for seconds. Better fear than blood, right?

Maybe a little bit of blood too.

She was either twenty one or two thousand, but a woman never shared her age and you'd be a fool to ask.

Young and tender, old and weathered.

She was some where on the dark end of morally grey, one bad day away from showing off her truest of colors; pitch black and thick with shadows.

Skills:

Ila has the ability to weave shadows and darkness in whatever way she sees fit. It heeds to her every whim, asking no questions. She can easily travel from A to B by simply stepping from one shadow to the next and hide within them should the need arise. She can wield them as easily as one might a sword, tearing her way through whatever foe might stand in her way..in the most gruesome ways possible.

Never far from her side is Styx, her shadow daemon that feeds off her fear and sets her straight when she's being a nightmare. Typically in the form of a raven, he is quick witted and logical. Because of his insatiable hunger, Ila fears nothing. This total absence of fear tends to get her into trouble more often than not.

Truth be told, she doesn't mind trouble all that much. It would be a travesty if she ever got bored.
