Asteria has sharp blue eyes set in a round, pale face over which emotions flit plainly. Her mouth is often set in an absentminded frown, and she appears to always be looking beyond whatever lies in front of her. Her face is framed by messy blonde curls into which she often tucks ingredients like drying flowers or feathers. If she's come from home, her cheeks may be smudged with ink or dirt from the garden. If she has just returned from questing, her nose may be red from the sun. She is a slight thing, almost enveloped by her unruly curls. Though she's only 5'2" she holds herself tall and long, and is prone to wild gesticulation when she gets excited, which is often.

When she's out researching, she wears armor underneath her favorite cloak which is a deep blue and lined in pockets. If her mother taught her anything, it was to always to keep a few ingredients on hand. When in town she has a tendency to wear too much, to throw on as many spelled brooches and pins as possible over her long gowns and then dirty them weeding in the garden. In general, she loves color and shine, but often gets too excited about a find and has a habit of ruining her clothes.

But, no matter what she wears, she always has her enchanted sword Gram strapped to her hip, and her trusted demon Erebus at her side, in the form of a black raven, cat, snake, or hare. She can often be found arguing with her sword Gram, who has a nasty set of curses that lead to him changing shape every time she unsheathes him, humming when he thinks danger is near, and becoming fused with his wielder's hand at inopportune moments. Erebus perches calmly on her shoulder, staring others down with burning gold eyes set in a shifting black face. As an ink demon, he moves fluidly, shifting constantly between forms to express himself.

It has been a few years since her last visit to Rhydin, but this does not show in her face. She seems youthful and bright as ever. A few years stuck in a dreamland trying to free herself and her friends from the parasitic webs of fae seems not to have dulled her boundless curiosity, occasionally unwise friendliness, and untamable exuberance. It answered as many questions as it raised though, and Asteria is still on the hunt for a name; a name long forgotten and a face recently lost. What most who knew her before her absence would notice is the eternal char on her fingers, the fallout from her attempt to save a friend and a single clue to her past, her future, and the forgotten name of her most steadfast companion, Erebus. She hasn't quite puzzled it out yet, and seems rather troubled by it at times, often hiding her hands under soft leather gloves when in public, partly to hide the memories away and partly because her hands have a habit of setting sparks on anything they touch for too long now. She's realized the general public rather disapproves of random firestarting.

Knot magic, potions, finding trouble, sword-work, always curious to learn something new.

((Asteria and Erebus, and the MUN were on the RDI before it moved and I'd love to rework and revitalize them a bit to bring them back again. It seems a lot was missed while they and I were away, so please bear with me! I will hopefully get around to reuploading their stories and continue them.))
