Weighed down with enough secrets to lead to a slouch of her spine and sag of her shoulders, but Phoebe knew how some games were played and kept the mask of a coy smile or sarcastic smirk laid across the colorful backdrop that made up her mouth. Her eyes lacked any mirthful sparkle or shine, yet did not offer up a pair of windows to an empty or shattered soul. The vibrant shade of turquoise that adorned her hair helped to give the impression that she was just another twenty something crunchy hipster that was moving out of the scene life.

Phoebe just really liked the color.
