How do I find myself in these situations?

See the world, they said. It'll be fun, they said. And where are my erstwhile cousins? Flitting about looking for the next prank, whilest I seek my own fortunes in the world... Well, I chose this path, now I suppose I should see it through...

Thus I found myself sheltering in Thane at the Farsider's Guild hall. I did not have unlimited funds and the hall seemed like the place to find employment and, indeed, companionship. I did not have to wait long before Master Kravits gathered myself and a few others into a group.

Currently we have been hired by Volo to find a missing friend... Easier said than done when the Zhentarium and an insane Beholder are involved.
