Killian is in his late 20s. His Irish heritage is easily evident with his curly red hair, light freckles, an athletic, slender frame. He usually attempts to keep his appearance neat and cleanshaven, and he prefers to dress a bit formally, albeit a perhaps a bit old-fashioned, for someone of his age.

A strange, quiet man, Killian is certainly no stranger to the word "eccentric". An herbalist by trade, he has always been fascinated by world of plants. He lives alone, enjoying a rather simple life in his cottage, surrounded by trees and plants. Despite that, all his business seems to be done locally in New York City. Just where this cottage he operates out of is, no one is completely sure.

Perhaps it was due to his solitary life, but Killian had a sort of social awkwardness to him; not in a decisively off-putting way, but in the way that made it obvious he wasn't completely sure how to conduct himself in a crowd. Despite that, he has a good-natured personality, and is always interested to learn about the lives of others.
