Frequently has a pipe and is smoking a blend of Mullen, Bayberry leaf, Spearmint leaf, and Damiana. Occasionally he may smoke cherry or rum tobacco.

He wears thigh high socks or hosiery. Why? Because he does what he wants. If asked he may give one of many reasons. Circulatory problems, warmth, to stop chaffing, his knees knock, they pair well with a kilt and he likes the breeze, and that if Henry VIII and Superman can wear tights then he certainly can wear his choice of hosiery too.

He likes to drink, he's rather scruffy around the edges, and his manners are not always there but he prefers Elizabethan Insults over crude swearing and he can be quite a gentleman if he feels like it.

When he calls he may pretend that he's conducting an orchestra or that he's a puppet master.

He is a story teller of both fact and fiction.

He amuses himself greatly.
