Appearance:

Jian looked off, for a doctor. For long stretches on the nights he strode through the streets, he seemed pale, steely, not entirely given to words or affectations more than what was necessary, often spoken low and droning. However, on the off night that he was out buying supplies or idling at a bar with a book, he seemed outright warm, if a bit reserved, easy to laugh and express, yet these still seemed to roll off into an eerie stillness.

He dressed in a lot of dark clothing, to the point of cliché, yet it was just as often a rumpled button-down with rolled up sleeves as formal wear sharp enough to draw blood, though each was just enough to let him maneuver without much incident or undue attention. Though his clothes may or may not have had some worth to them, no hint of jewelry or finery touched him.

Skills:

Jian's profession, on paper, is 'chemist,' but he boasted of no license or degree. He takes up shop in the parts of town where people often had nothing but favors to owe and services to render, shuffling them as necessary between clients. Whatever healing he renders, however, is done behind closed doors.

Rumors seem to spread, and often hush, that he's plied his trade on the entire gamut of Universal Studio's stable of Monsters. Though he himself often says nothing on the matter, he often changes the topic to something a bit less steeped in hearsay and frivolity.

Some unsavory elements do try to insist on his expertise. The likelihood of their return from such a visit tends to be, all told, rather close to nil.
