Modern Day Gypsy
Appearance:
The road was long and never ending for their family. In fleets of RVs and caravans, they wandered the world as modern-day gypsies. The network had gotten large, some of them had splintered off and bought houses, opting for a more settled lifestyle. All that really meant was that their home became a docking station for the rest of the 'family' during the course of different travels. Mark wasn't sure how many brothers, sisters or cousins he had by blood, birth, or name, but the web extended out there. Someone always knew someone who could help you with a bit of this or that, or getting a bit of this or that. As his father's eldest, he was shoulder to shoulder with him over the motor of a car, spitting deals, and gettin' whatever kind of fuel they needed to keep moving.

There was a lot of time on the road to read, talk, play cards or some video games. His sister kept her head in a book, he kept earbuds jammed into his brain with the latest tunes he'd been able to find. Of all his family, they were the closest. They traveled together in the same RV but didn't have much in common. Billie liked talking about how things could be perfect. He and their father did trades and grimmy deals behind a gas station or at bars where another married woman would try to slip into his pants. During those times he thought about how ridiculously niave she was by staying in the RV, reading love novels everytime he stepped out and dealt with the real world.
Skills:
"Billie's gone?" His hands fished up to his ears, pulling out the buds and then blinking at his father's booming voice. "You sure she hadn't stepped out for something?"

"Stupid girl left a note!" His father balled it up and threw it against the cabinet inside their RV. Mark groaned and walked over to were she kept her stuff on her side of their cramped quarters. The usual collection of love novels and fantasy books were jammed into whatever open spaces she had on her side. Some old makeup containers, too, but it was clear she grabbed all the makeup, clothes and books she really liked. He couldn't find that dog-earred one she was always picking at.

"Mark, you go and get her," his father pointed at him, then to the door, "and don't you dare come back without her. You either come back with her, or not at all."

"What? Dad, she's just... being all whimsy in the head. She'll get over it and come back on her own when she gets a dose of reality."

"Mark, she took some money with her and hit the road. You know Billie, she doesn't know how the world works. Get her and don't come back 'til you do."

"... Shit."
