Syl'dalorá is "Risái," an esteemed, proud and beautiful, nymph-like species (sometimes called “Earthlords.”); sylvan humanoids of colossal stature, resembling the titans of mythology mixed with the mythical presentation of dryads and fairies, and as such possess characteristics similar to that of many early world descriptions. As a powerful nature regulators, or the embodiments of the fury of nature, many find the image of Syl'dah to be intimidating.
